I'm appalled and disgusted at the level of professionalism displayed by the Receptionist, makes up her own rules as she sees fit. Dr Presgrave is a great doctor, but tainted by this disgraceful human being he has under his employ. Too long a story to state here, had an appointment today only to walk out.

Dr Presgrave is a good doctor and clearly knows his stuff. However, his receptionist gives him a horrible reputation. After my experience, I can’t justify spending another $240 to be treated the way I was. She gatekeeps the Dr like there is no tomorrow.

I had to have surgery and it was pushed back 3 times because I was not told what was required of me by either Dr Presgrave or his receptionist. Not like I was needing results over the phone, just a simple “Hey we need xyz from you in order to approve your surgery”. It felt like sabotage. Not sure where the disconnect was but they lied to my surgeon and told him I was not taking my medication when I’ve been taking it for minimum 4 months at the time (not sure how long exactly). Not to mention, when I called their office to follow up on something regarding my surgery, the receptionists response was “You are not our only patient” when I asked why she hadn’t called my surgeons clinic to get his phone number. Well my response was I am aware of that but Dr Presgrave is my only neurologist, to which she scoffed, fantastic customer service Anne.

As Dr Presgrave is an older Dr he doesn’t know how to explain things in simple terms to ensure the patient understands what is happening and/or what needs to be done. I had to go to my GP and to another neurologist to understand why I’m taking 4 pills a day and how often I need to be getting MRI’s.

If I can save anyone the money, please run from this place. Have to wear a mask, not allowed to bring another person into the clinic with you, your phone needs to be off, they don’t use email, old fashioned is an understatement and it is very inconvenient and frustrating. Good luck to those who continue to see Dr Presgrave. I have since found a neurologist who is cheaper, explains things in ways I can understand, and wants to ensure I receive the best care by referring me to a clinic that specialises in my condition whilst saying should I need anything I am his patient and I can see him whenever I need.

Clinics and Dr’s who care for their patients and don’t just see them as a walking bank is what we need to see more of.

If I said what I thought about the receptionist my review would be blocked for bad language. I have never come across someone so rude and obnoxious, nor someone so reluctant to actually do their job! I’m sure if she was a patient and someone was doing that to her she wouldn’t be to fond of that. Horrible place with even worse people in particular the receptionist working there!

Very rude secretary. I gave one star but it should have been 0. She has cancelled my appointment because she didn't get my referral in time even I gave all the details with the doctor who send me. I am glad I didn't spend $400 on this toxic environment where my health comes second.

This Dr is an outstanding Dr without a doubt! But his receptionist lady was incredibly rude as soon as I walked in wow! I was shocked.as soon as I walked in with my father she kicked me out straight away. Didn't bother asking nicely. Even though I was trying to tell her that I'm here with my dad! She totally disregarded what I said and told me to leave. If you have a NO MASK POLICY it's not hard to say it nicely. " hello ma'am I'm sorry we have a no mask no enter policy if you can kindly go outside put your mask on and come back inside I'm happy to help you". It's simple and easy to be nice. This lady needs to be fired.

Very rude receptionist, ask you to pay before seeing doctor. (everywhere you pay after consulting)
Dr Presgrave only injected Botox on one side of my face to stop twist eye, make my smile crooked
Now, I see a nice, friendly neurologist, he is doing a good job, so I can smile again

Not only was the receptionist so incredibly rude from the get go. She was even worse in person. So unhelpful in trying to book the appointment. Their app didn’t work even though I tried in two different browsers and even converted the file 3 times. So she cancelled the appointment and the Dr faxed it to her as obviously the receptionist can’t use email. She then wasn’t happy with my Dads QLD covid vaccination certificate. I would not recommend this place and after reading the reviews I’m glad we walked out and didn’t pay $420 because I doubt the doctor would’ve been helpful anyway. Beware of this place. Both need to retire as they are not compassionate at all

Dr Jay Parikh was an exceptional specialist. He was extremely thorough and professional in his consultation. He conducted all necessary tests to rule out any assumed symptoms and diagnosis. I appreciated his intellectual approach as well as advise on all possible treatments and his professional judgment. His appointments were punctual and I did not have to spend time waiting in the waiting room. Overall an extremely pleasing experience with a positive outcome with Dr Jay Parikh.

Very RUDE receptionist ANNE! Not helpful at all in trying to get an appointment. The way I was spoken to was atrocious. I will gladly give my $400 consultation to someone else. Absolutely disgusting!

A professional, thorough and caring place. Both the doctor and secretary have shown so much care and been helpful, including booking further testing required and handling more than expected. Definitely a trusting place to go, everyone’s experience is different so I suggest going and seeing for yourself, especially when it is neurology- related. It is difficult to know what to do when you receive unpleasant health results from your GP, but here is the place to go. Payment is regular with Medicare rebate and follow up appointments are timely; reducing stress.

The receptionist is totally rude and racist. She almost yelled at my mum because my mum could not understand much English and she refused to let me translate some basic info for my mum. I just tell my mum to walk off from that old rude women. There're plenty of specialist doctors who are good in their field and also good at customer service that can treat their patients with respect. Unfortunately I can't give 0 star for this place. Hope people read the reviews form me and the others so you don't need to waste time to come to this doctor.

All I needed from this Neurologist was an RTA form filled in so I could keep driving after his report from a previous visit was lodged with the RTA. A booking was made but I was informed that a referral was needed plus $460 for the consultation. When I explained what I needed the receptionist abruptly said that it was still a consultation and reminded me about the $460 required. Unfortunately the referral didn't state the form as the real reason for my visit but only stated my condition. When I mentioned the form to the doctor the tirade started with abuse directed at both the RTA and me. Needless to say he refused to help me which left me desperately trying to get an appointment at another neurologist at short notice.

Extremely rude receptionist, they request the referral so I emailed it to them, they contacted my Drs office requesting a referral 3 days later so they faxed it to them and then the day before my appointment they message me saying my appointment is cancelled as I haven't sent through my referral and then their phone has been engaged for the last 3 hours. It's a neurologists office yet they dont seem to have a brain between them!

If you want to see someone who actually listens to your concerns and questions instead of just takes your money and rushes you out the door then DO NOT GO HERE. There are so many other options for neurologists that actually are in the business for the right reasons. Absolute appalled at this practice.

Very rude receptionist she needs to learn how to speak to customers or if she hated her job she shouldn't be working anymore but there's no need to be rude to patients.

Dr Craig not helpful. He doesn’t have a time to listen to you. I decided to go to another doctor because my case became worse.

Thank you so much Dr Presgrave for making me feel my problem was fake. I am now being treated by a wonderful Neurologist who has diagnosed me with CPRS.

I have told my referring GP to never refer anyone to you again as I believe that you have no empathy for your patient’s & maybe it’s time for you to retire.

As for your receptionist, I remember Anne asking me when I first called if my problem was Workers Compensation. I explained I was trying to find out if my pain my related to original injury but that’s where I needed Dr Presgrave’s expertise. When he said it was & I said something about it to Anne that I would be seeking Workers Compensation she bit my head off & said I asked you when you first called if it was a Workers Compensation case, well I’m sorry Anne but if I was psychic I would have told you. By the way thank you so much for not making your follow up call you said you would make after my cortisone injections. Not hearing from you made me happy as I really didn’t want to speak to you either as I find your phone manner disgusting, especially after seeing you answering the phone as I waited to see Dr Presgrave.

Terrible service from staff specially staff membernamed " Tedrina"". They are soo rude. Including they delayed filing my form to the road registration regarding my medical condition that resulted in suspension of my license. DO NOT GO THERE
