It was a very good experience. Of particular note was the consent form I had to sign prior to the internal part of the ultrasound.

The consent form was clear and informative and gave weight to the delicate nature of the examination. It made me feel like Quantum really understood how vulnerable internal examinations can make a patient feel and I very much appreciated the extra acknowledgment of this before the exam started.

I’m not usually one to write reviews, even when my experience isn’t ideal. However, I feel the need to express the appalling service I received today by two sonographers, as I left in tears. I will first preface this review by mentioning I have had multiple scans during this pregnancy, all of which were very informative, personable and interactive. Unfortunately todays experience was far from this. My baby was very active, which made taking photos more challenging for the sonographer, this along with a new machine mean that she was having a hard time capturing the require images. I was very understandable about this. This frustration seemed to radiate from the sonographer, and she pressed extremely hard on my lower abdomen. This caused me to have a sharp stabbing pain in my abdomen and I almost flew off the table. Instead of apologising to me for hurting me, she said “omg you scared me”. She then said she needed to get another sonographer to assist in taking photos because my baby was too active, when the other sonographer arrived they only spoke among themselves and seemed annoyed that I was asking questions regarding my scan/ baby. This heightened my anxiety in a vulnerable situation and I felt my obstetric concerns were dismissed. I also asked at the end of the scan if I could have a little photo to keep (this is my first pregnancy, and I am of course very excited), they responded with “it’s too hard to print them off, you can do it off the app yourself”. My mum attended the scan with me and commented on their demeanour when we left. They were cold and completely neglected any sense of client centred care. I work in health and I am shocked that this was my experience. I will definitely be apprehensive to continue to refer patients to this facility.

It is worth mentioning that the reception staff were lovely.

I have been to Quantum several times, and have not ceased to be amazed at the brilliant Staff. The Ladies on the front desk are friendly and accomodating, and the medical Staff are really lovely and do everything they can to put you at ease.

I can't praise the lovely staff enough in QRS. Every time I called they have been friendly and helpful, explained the details to me and made the necessary transfer for me swiftly. Five stars for the excellent services!

I was extremely worried and nervous about the procedure. Despite the practice being busy and behind schedule, Vicky took the time to reassure me and made the process a lot less scary. Thank you for your kindness.

Wouldn’t expect my medical exemption for not wearing a mask and Made me wait outside in the rain…….

One technician in the past put the needle wrong in my arm and it was in severe pain and puffed up. It was cat scan fluid.

I've been in pain with possible hernia for a week waiting for a doctors appointment and they refused service because they are the ONLY place left breaking the law to coerce people to wear a mask. And I wasn't willing to risk an anaphylaxis like episode and dying doing so and they were happy for me to die doing so and not willing to see me. Causes severe asthma and panic attack to the point of asphyxiation of the asofficus.

I had just left the GP not requiring a mask and neither did the optomotrist. And they expected me to wait another week to see a doctor to get an exemption for a painful emergency. For something that scientifically does not work, asymptomatic has proven in studies in 2020 to be false, and is just a suggestion not law.

They are breaking the law and refusing service and not about health. I am still in pain and have to find someone else more professional who is up to date with literature.

Had to go here twice for an ultrasound. Both female technicians were beautiful people who made me feel extremely comfortable and at ease in a stressful situation. One woman was named Amanda and she was lovely. The receptionists are also polite and kind. Can't recommend this place enough. Beautiful place with beautiful staff who are kind and considerate.

I went to quantum radiology during covid restrictions/lockdown and they were easy, efficient and friendly. I was in and out quickly and they got the job done very fast. I recommend quantum radiology Springwood highly.

My 11yr old had scans for her teeth. The staff were very friendly and it was a positive experience considering she went in by herself.

Sometimes you’ll have to wait a bit but otherwise I’m always pleased with the service. I just want to mention that Helen is lovely and empathetic with pregnancy ultrasounds.

I had an ultrasound for a foot injury yesterday. The sonographer, Jenny, was superb. Thorough about the work, personable and friendly. Exactly what a medical professional should be.

Receptionists and radiologist who did my x-ray were nice. They have an app that they can send your images too which is convenient. The x-ray took a bit longer to reach my doctor but wasn't too bad. Car parking is usually on the full side.

I had to have two separate Ultrasounds at Springwood and I was feeling anxious. Both Mel and Nicola were professional yet friendly and put my mind at ease. A good experience. I will definately go back in the future

I had my ultrasound done by Nicole. She was very cold when I said I had concerns I had miscarried. She used very technical terms to explain my situation. When I said I didn’t understand she giggled and said she wasn’t sure how to give me the bad news. Absolutely horrible experience and cannot fathom how someone can have such little empathy.

Without going into personal details i can agree with all other reviews on Nicole and pregnancy related ultrasounds - please do everyone a favour, especially your patients and learn basic bedside manner. Hands down the worst medical professional I have ever come across - left my appointment in tears due to her behaviour. Being a patient makes you vulnerable - show compassion and courtesy.

I've had 4 ultrasounds regarding my 2 pregnancies this past year. They are always able to get you in within a few days, if not the same day of calling and my appointments have always been on time.

Last week I had a follow up dating scan and the tech could not have been more rude and unfriendly, she even went as far as to comment on how the novelty of having children would wear off. Didn't seem appropriate given we had concerns there wouldn't be a heartbeat found. I believe her name was Nicola.

Ladies at reception were friendly and helpful.
