Nem Riverwood reviews
58NEM Riverwood has always been consistently good serving Northern Vietnamese Authentic Cuisines. Definitely my top Vietnamese Restaurant in Sydney
Great Vietnamese food from the north (Hanoi) that is rare to find!
Recommend Bun Cha Nem!
Very generous portions, delicious food. They had some of the more rare options available like freshly made banh cuon which is hard to come by and was delicious! Great prices too!
Average 3-star in my ratings but I give it 4-stars for the good pricing. The taste of food doesn’t really stand out. Seating is comfortable and the food portion is generous. The 3-colour drink disappoints very much as it doesn’t taste good enough, has too much coarse ice, and it was served in an opaque glass, totally unlike the photo of it in a clear glass on the poster on the shopfront. I come from Vancouver and I base my rating on what I can get in Vancouver
Amongst the Riverwood big hitter for Viet food this one doesn't hit home unfortunately, the flavors of a pho isn't rich enough and the proportions are a bit pricey for what you get. I would stay they specialize in other dishes more than there soup based meals here.
Food 7/10
Service 7/10
Cost 6/10
The pho and the Bún bò Huế is great, filled with flavour and big serving size. Would definitely recommend! Service is also lovely.
It’s nice to find a great Northern style restaurant in the area. Quality food and nice menu.
Been here a few times and waited 40 mins for meal, they had’nt started cooking cause they were doing phone orders. We just walked out. Another time they bought out a meal and somehow our meat was rock hard, over cooked and plate was filled with salad only. Don’t order over the phone cause they tend to put less in it. The owners are Starting to take short cuts. Pho would be the only thing that’s worth having. About 3 yes ago they were quite decent.
Best bun I've had outside Vietnam. Lovely ambience, spacious seating, and very friendly service. Highly recommended! Try the Bun Cha Ha Noi and you're in for a treat.
Quite understaffed but still had a really plentiful and lovely meal. Comfortable and spacious seating. Will come here more often now:)
Massive portions. Finally came with more people so we could try more things! Tasty fresh and generous serves. Great value for money! Ordered too much food as usual.
Edible but not impressive. Pho was ok, probably around 4-ish mark, the crispy chicken and tomato rice was a letdown. Way too much rice that felt it was from a few days ago. A solid 2/5
Overall a 3- place
Had the Pho Dac Biet, was ok nothing mind blowing and definitely not the "best pho in Riverwood". Unfortunately the restaurants 4.5 star rating is over-hyped by other reviewers. Officially 3.5 star rating for the Pho.
I found their Pho and other selected dishes average compared to another Vietnamese restaurant in the area unfortunately.
I live in the area for quiet sometimes and just found out that this place has good Vietnam food. Easy to find parking spot because they have back entrance that leads to a big parking lot.
I really like the chicken pho, usually other places have these watery. Bland stock soups. This one and the beef pho taste great
The best Vietnamese restaurant in the area. They do a good pho, and we also like the crispy chicken with vermicelli noodles
The pho here is great because the broth has a deep spice flavour profile but the laksa at this place tasted a bit questionable.
Best Vietnamese I have had. So delicious and fresh. Ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and the beef vermicelli. The service is great and the staff are friendly. Highly recommend, will definitely be back.
Had dinner here tonight and it was ok. We got spring rolls, beef pho and pho ga tron (dry chicken rice noodles). The springs toss were nice and crispy and quite thick in size. The beef pho was strong in cinnamon flavour and very salty. The beef pho also did not come with a side plate of herbs beans sprouts and lemon. The pho ga tron was ok, the rice noodles were over cook and very soft and the soup that came with this dish was again way too salty. Another thing was that there wasn't any spoons at our table. They did have really good pickle garlic condiment.
