2Pete Potgieter is an intelligent, kind human being that is willing to help "outside his scope". I can't recommend him highly enough.
I found Pete to be skillful in some regards but mostly inflexible and difficult to work with in others. I've never experienced a social worker whom has found it so challenging to manage their emotions, responses and time, when dealing with complex family dynamics that intersect between relationships, disability and trauma. In my view, it is essential someone in this role be able to communicate their issues and personal communication preferences in a way that is sensitive, professional and appropriate to the situation. What is not appropriate is suddenly dropping a client without any substitute support, after agreeing to take on the task. For this reason, I provide a review warning people to first get Pete to agree, in writing, on the services Pete agrees to provide, before paying over $190/hr for services you may need to find replacements for if he suddenly changes his mind.
