My employer engaged NSS to do my LVR/CPR refresher training via distance learning as I was onsite in Western Australia. I completed the training and submitted my documents. After a few weeks I had not received a copy of my Certificate. I contacted Shane Wallace from NSS from my work email on numerous occasions with no reply. I then contacted NSS from my personal email address (where the refresher course was originally sent to me) asking for a copy of my certificate. I was told "Contact your employer, they've paid for the provision of training. " Alternately, we re-issue certificates for a fee of $55.
I forwarded this email to my work email address (I'm a HSE Advisor) and replied back to Shane Wallace and cc'd my management team to the email. The reply I got was completely unprofessional. I was told I was being rude. I had wasted his time and my employers time by cc them into my email reply.etc etc etc. When I did receive my certificate from our admin team NSS had spelled my name incorrectly.
When I contacted Shane Wallace via telephone he hung up on me.
This was THE WORST RTO I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with in my 12 years of FIFO construction.
Complete Arrogance and disgraceful customer service.
I will edit the email addresses out from the email correspondence and post with this review.

I have been using National Safety Services for over five years now and have only had excellent service from Shane. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable and an excellent trainer but he really goes the extra mile for his clients. They are my first choice in Newcastle when I need safety consulting or training
I can’t recommend National Safety Services highly enough and will continue to use them when needed

Staff were very helpful throughout the entire process. Shane, the trainer possesses a very high knowledge of the courses I completed from both training and work place industry experience.

Highly recommend NSS.

Recently, our organisation attended a training course provided by National Safety Services and Shane was the mentor/coach. It was very educational and presented in an easy to learn format. Our organisation will benefit from this training and would definitely recommend to others.

Shane and the NSS team were absolutely brilliant. I probably learnt more in the past four days than I had in years.
Shane is a great teacher if you get to have th epleasure of learning under him, he really knew what he was talking about so if you had some left field questions he could help you out in a heart beat.
You could really tell it was different from most other certificate mills as Shane was honest and guided me through a pathway which had my best interest at heart. I look forward to doing my Hazardous area training and furthing my qualifications with him in the future. Cheers guys

Called a few times during nominated hours and NO answer.
Sent email and NO response for a few day when responded to advised that booking had been locked in.
On day of training arrive onsite before the start time as per paperwork sent.
Waited till well past start time still no show from anyone. Called the office multiple times and no answer.found mobile number and spoke to a staff member that advised the training was NOT going ahead due to other more important tasks going on that day.

Not the greatest customer service as i had to take the day off to get this training.

Highly recommend going through these guys. Shane is definitely the best trainer I have used. He is great great the way he delivers his courses and makes the day interesting

The training was delivered on time & kept to a good pace. Shane shared plenty of his experiences and made the learning very relatable. I'll definitely be returning to National Safety Services for my future safety training.

After needing a LVR/CPR course on short notice due to fifo work NSS was happy to help, their service was timely in answering my calls and even with limited notice their prices were the cheapest around. Knowing this i look forward to using and recommending their services moving forward with upcoming refreshers. Thanks again NSS!

Office didn't anwser call (Friday) so I left a msg and received a txt after hours saying I'm booked in for Monday.
I received contradicting information from the emails with different days/dates and then sent a couple of texts to try and clarify the location of training in which I received no response.
With continual searching efforts I found two different addresses with the trainers name and mobile number so I was extremely confused.
I then on Sunday afternoon sent another msg stating that I just needed clarification of where I was meant to be on Monday at 7: 30 am as for I live over an hr away.
To my shock and dismay I received a nasty and threatening message.
Very inappropriate business manner and extremely unorganised.
(Ps I've never written a review in my life but am so shocked by my treatment; only human, if you don't want to be contacted "after hours" then don't send msgs after that or have your mobile number displayed on multiple platforms)
