Have to relinquish care of my son as they cut his plan by a 3rd and even stopped funding items. These people have ZERO care factor for you.

If you are a disabled person or a participant involved with the NDIS you will need to stock up on a lifetime supply of prescription quality pain medication to survive this institution. They offer a better training program at the Penrith mcafe then the so-called plan managers or the assessors. The even joke about how bad the coffee is in the building during your planned reviews that you might have waited 6 months for and it completely don't take contemporaneous notes. Or actually listen to you. They should just get rid of this organisation and stop pretending.

I had to ask my daughter to write this review because I am legally blind and have no access to the internet! In the last 3 years since I've been an NDIS client, I have been repeatedly refused assistive technology for my eyesight which is very imperative for me to be able to function and feel like an equal member of society, which at the moment is not the case. I am very isolated and ignored because of the lack of support by NDIS (eg.my daughter writing this review because I'm not able to). They have refused to give me a magnifier or any kind of assistive technology where OTs can come and help me with marking in my house and especially they have refused to give me anything that is text-to-speech that is so desperately needed for me to be able to get on the computer and be able to view my own portal. Yet they keep referring to me to "go and see your portal". I find that very discriminative since they are the ones that are actually stopping me from using that portal in the first place by denying me absolutely necessary help. I am a single mother of 2 living on a pension which on its own is a struggle because the money is not enough, and they expect me to buy all the equipment i need myself. Yet we have to pay a high price through NDIS for people to provide a service for us and they don't give us enough funds. They give us bare necessities that you have to stretch out to make sure you have just enough for shopping and lawn mowing services. Forget about anything else that would improve your daily living. Even though I had several experts coming out from Vision Australia writing out reports about what aids are necessary to improve daily living, NDIS always finds some kind of a reason not to make that happen. I am more stressed and depressed now about my self and my worth than ever. I was much happier before NDIS came on board. I was receiving help based on how much I could pay, calculated by my income, and I had shopping, cleaning and lawn mowing services on a regular basis. Now with their funding, I cannot do that. I am struggling more than ever. I do agree with a previous review by one of the NDIS clients that this is a scam scheme of able bodied people. We really don't benefit from this scheme. All those commercials on TV "we are in control" is just a load of lies. Why they don't help me with eyesight aids is beyond me because you cannot get in touch with anybody. They do not give you a direct number, they call you from a private number and always redirect you to the general number and you can never get to the bottom of it. Because of NDIS I feel worthless as a human being more than ever because with their actions this is exactly what they prove to me! And they are supposedly meant to be there for us disabled people. And they are NOT. BIG TIME! I wish things could go back the way they were before NDIS ever existed. They should abolish this because they are taking taxes from people, justifying it by saying "people don't mind helping disabled people", but we don't even see 1/3 of the money from taxes. Looks like this is just another laundromat for the government. They found another way to take taxes from people and justify it by lies. THANK YOU NDIS FOR MAKING ME FEEL LIKE I'M WORTH NOTHING!

NDIS, is a SCAM SCHEME, invented by able body persons, for the there benefit. The recipient gets told here is a sum of money that has to last you all year, good luck, need anything submit a invoice or aid application for equipment.
The disabled recipient has to pay able body person rediculous high high hourly wages, plus all the outer pocket expenses, petrol, toll, phone calls etc from the package funding. AND, the recipient has to pay from there disability pension, the works cost, there drinks of preference the food the entertainment like the movie tickets, etc.has the able body person as the rights to not insure any at all expenses while at work with the recipient. The only thing, we disabled don’t proved “yet” is the royal red carpet we need to roll out for the ndis workers.
I can’t access the funding without utter hell, and then still no aids or equipment BUT, you able body people just need to get our name, and ndis number and help yourself to submit to be paid, you don’t have to render the service.
Meanwhile confined to a wheelchair chronic pain, no family no help, we struggle to live alone and eat and cope.
NDIS SCAM SCHEME.provides able body persons the legal right to take advantage and abuse and steal from disable people.we get squat!
There are zero human rights in Australia, this scam scheme, promotes able abody people to use the disabled to get massive payouts, the royal red carpet job.and the ndis workers no how to scam the disabled and use there funding so well! Good luck to all recipients

I am a widowed single father of a 33 year old disabled daughter. The funding does not cover anywhere near enough to what she needs and is less than before she transitioned in. Example She is only allowed 3 baths/showers a week! In a developed country does everyone only bath/shower 3 times a week? I explain the issues, they say they understand, but as they have not listened they do nothing, only gives me heartache and stress. NDIS is a basket case and are killing me.

This isn't the correct address. You'll find the NDIS office on High Street, in Fiona Scott MP's office. Go towards the Police Station, and you'll see Fiona Scotts MP Office next to it. Go inside the the MP's office and you'll find NDIS tucked away in there. 331 High St, Penrith NSW 2750 is the correct address. Save you from having to call the NDIS office to find their correct address.
