My hubby and I went to the Yin class on Tuesday evening with Suzi. It was amazing. Such a great class, positive energy, self acceptance encouragement. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and calm. Will be back again. What a safe space. Xx

The best yoga, the best teachers and the best studio on the coast. This is the place for Yin Yoga and flow style Hatha.

I have come to love my yoga practice, a practice I began for the first time about 20 months ago, after my 60th birthday. I was nervous before my first experience of yoga as I thought I would be older and fatter than everyone else. I have learned that people of all ages, shapes and levels of fitness enjoy Yin yoga classes.

It was sometime before I felt completely confident that I could find my 'edge' in each held position. But with lots of support from the wonderful, well trained teachers, and over time, I now look forward to, and enjoy every lesson.

I am more flexible now and have lost the stiffness and aches and pains I was beginning to experience each day, and that I thought were an inevitable effect of aging. I can now see daylight between all my toes! I remember when I started attending classes, that I would have to use props to support my head, but that is no longer the case. I feel physically stronger and more in control of my own health.

Most importantly I feel I am learning more about relaxing, and about controlling negative thoughts.
At the end of my classes I feel relaxed and refreshed. There are even times at the end of a class when I feel quite euphoric!

The Sanctuary is well named. It is a space I can enter to feel safe, supported and nurtured. As a teacher, I am always impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of the Sanctuary yoga teachers.

Thank you Mysan, for sharing your time, energy, expertise and vision, enabling so many people to experience the joys of Yin yoga.

An amazing Yoga Studio. I was a return customer for many years and only stopped as I moved away. Greatly miss the studio and its team. Both incredibly knowledgeable and lovely people. Highly recommend these guys if you are either an experienced practitioner or new to the form.

This is a lovely caring yoga studio. No matter which instructor you have it will be a good experience. Tonight the experience was something to remember. When we settled down for savasana our instructor Nadia played the guitar and sang, it was a beautiful experience, she's a true songbird.
