My Sewing Supplies

I had been looking around sewing shops and online for a cord and pedal for an overlocker I was borrowing. By chance I stumbled into ‘My Sewing Supplies’ at Sylvania. They were honestly the nicest and most helpful people and fixed the overlocker on the spot, provided me with knowledge on how to use it, thread it and fix it. They showed me all the resources I would need and followed up with emails to help me get a user manual. Furthermore, I got the pedal and cord for the best price I’ve seen online and in store. Every single one of the people working in this shop were smiling, helpful and down to earth.

I would never recommend ever going to this shop. I purchased an embroidery sewing machine which was a few thousand dollars, was supposed to come with a software program in part of the deal, unpacked everything to find I didn’t have it. The shop staff lied numerous times about giving me the program. Got a better deal from another shop for much cheaper then my sewing supplies offered, and to be told by their competitor they have lots of complaints about the shop. BEWARE IF YOU PURCHASE FROM THIS SHOP THAT YOU HAVE EVERYTHING PRIOR TO PAYING! Very unprofessional on many levels

The staff here are so wonderful and knowledgeable. Every visit to this amazing store is an absolute joy.

Pleasant helpful staff. Seeing machine repairs can be done. Good selection of fabric etc. Parking is easy.

I called the shop yesterday and spoke to a friendly staff member about repairing my sewing machine.
She was very willing to help.
Today when I came to the shop I was greeted warmly and made to feel very welcome.
I was serviced straight away. My sewing machine was repaired on the spot by one of the staff and the repair was very reasonably priced.
I told the staff member I was happy to pay more.

There was also a great range of beautiful patterned fabric in tones I like.
