My Home Living Care Pty Ltd reviews
6My wife works for this company and she works crazily hard! So this company must be a good company that attracts very dedicated employees.
One of the best home care providers. My mother in law has been very well looked after by their care workers.
I am a high level needs client who is paraplegic.
My experience with MHLC indicates that they do not have enough trained/competent support workers to do Personal Care for Disabled Clients.
Support Workers recommended as "Very Experienced or Registered Nurses" are sent out.
Most cannot use a Blood Pressure Monitor, Thermometer, Implement Hand Hygiene, Skin Integrity Checks, Bowel Care, SPC maintenance etc. Recently a support worker was sent out who could not speak or write English. Workers are asked if they can do the above. If they say YES they are sent out.
MHLC needs to check the qualifications of such workers or train them as advertised in their Vision Statement of "being a leading source of Recruitment and Training". If MHLC are Screening and Training suitable support workers send them here not those that are not.
Dishonest company. Preying on people with disabilities for their own profit. Avoid using this company. Disgusting behavior from the owner.
I’m shocked at how appalling their services are and how fraudulent the company is.
NDIS should be ashamed that they are allowing this business to offer services to people with disabilities.
First time experience with My Home Living Care was dishonest, deceitful, useless and fraudulent.
Firstly, they sent around a cleaner with only a pair of gloves. I had to supply all his cleaning equipment and agents. He proceeded to clean and right away I could see that he was inexperienced. He was supposed to have cleaned our entire house but only managed to clean 3 bathrooms in 3 hours.
Secondly, the representative they sent mislead me to believe I was getting actual cleaners with equipment etc. She also informed me that she would send documented information and an authorisation to commence cleaning but never did. Although no agreement was established they were quick to withdraw from our NDIS account $500.
I cancelled their service immediately but that didn’t stop their corrupt behaviour. Another $2700 was withdrawn again. I immediately contacted our bookkeeper and their manager to complain. Coincidently, the $2700 was returned and then the blaming and pointing fingers began.
They blamed our case manager for authorising the money, then blamed our co-ordinator while at no point took any responsibility for the withdrawal. They have also refused to refund the $500.
Be extremely careful dealing with this organisation.
Message to My Home Living Care - Stop justifying your corrupt ways and be true to yourself and your customers by returning the $500 you stole.
