8If you aren't Aboriginal, be prepared to pay $75pp in order to view any of the artwork, $450 for a family pass. This is after paying the usual npws fees/pass as well & then the guide doesn't turn up.
Wifi and Telstra access in the park, very useful. A very well organised park in conjunction with the local Aboriginals.
Amazingly a signal, bbq, toilets and at some occasion must have been a cafe at the visitors centre. The long walks in here were terrific but I love hiking.
In the middle of nowhere, but well worth it. Bring everything you need as there is a bathroom but little else.
We visited Mutawintji by air, chartering a small aircraft from Broken Hill Aviation. Spectacular views to behold and highly recommend to see it that way if you have the opportunity.
Fantastic information about the park and it's environment. I enjoyed reading the story about the nephew and the Uncle.
Great place to visit. Highlight was the Cultural tour led by an exceptional young aboriginal guide.
We were supposed to do a walk here but the guides did not show up and left us waiting 40 minutes before we left.
