Rude staff, no indoor pool available currently, no shade outside and the womens toilets are not maintained enough.
I was previously on the fence about here but a string of negative experiences has tainted my opinions

Very decent modern pool, with lots of cool stuff for the kids to play with. Would like to see a big kids slide though.

Very much worth the wait! The pools are so nice, the lifeguards are professional and diligent with their safety.water slide in the kid's pool is a hit and fun for the kids and it's a tranquil yet satisfying place to visit.

Drove all the way down there for the splash pool as it is advertised to be open only to be greeted by a rude staff member and told that it is to loud to be turn on as they would be having swim lessons

The pool is going under a majour renovation at the moment, which is going on 12months now. To which they are still charging full price for admission. There are no water bottle fill stations. The staff are approachable to the minimal standard. With no other options around, what can you do but review.

We can’t show you the face of this historic pool currently undergoing a major overhaul, as it’s basically a big construction site that you won’t be able to get near for the next few months. Instead you enter Muswellbrook Aquatic & Fitness Centre from the rear. Parking is temporarily near the local bowlo, and get a glimpse of what’s to come in the many architect’s impressions covering the construction fencing.

And it’s going to be a-mazing! The outdoor Olympic pool has already been mostly done and looking great, with new tiles and horizon edging. Only 3 metres remain undone. They are temporarily barricaded off, making this the only 47 metre pool we’ve ever swum in.

It’s also the only major outdoor pool we’ve seen that had at least a quarter of its length covered above by an enormous sun shade, allowing you to linger longer without the risk of sunburn.

We’ll return with interest next year to see it in all its completed glory, but we did appreciate Muswellbrook Shire Council ensuring the facility was open for the swimming season despite the construction work.

Attentive staff, clean facilities, excellent water quality. Indoor pool is safe. Swimming lessons for children and adults. Group aquatherapy sessions run by physiotherapists with referrals from Muswellbrook Hospital Physiotherapy Department. Indoor pool water has the cool edge removed. The outdoor Olympic Pool is not warmed. Resistance and cardio training is available in a well-equipped gym facility accessed through the main entrance to the pool area.

Very disappointed as we visited pool on Friday outside pool area closed but nothing advitised on site told outside area would be opened Saturday arrived on Saturday and it was closed again staff allowed we’d us to get in toddlers outside pool can understand staff shortages but no notification on line pool outside disgusting duck poop every where including in the water I see this as a heath bazaars maybe council could have cleaners to lean pool as the water clarity very good dirt covering the entire pool floor surfaces the staff informed us that they were under staffed maybe council should employ more reliable staff to have outside area acceptable l

Sensational and historically significant outdoor swimming pool. A wonderful asset to the community

Opening hours are average. Not many options for parents rooms for changing children. Outdoor pool closed most of year. Gym is expensive for what it is.
