9 We booked a golf getaway for three days checked into the resort chose the “all the golf you can play package” sounds great. No. The pro shop informed us that we could only play one day due to the four day tournament, something the resort failed to notify us when we booked then took no responsibility. Even at the time of deciding on the package they didn’t inform us of the tournament.
I would definitely not recommend the resort however the golf course is fabulous.
Wonderful resort with a magnificent golf course. The restaurant has good quality meals at reasonable prices. TAB on site, big screen for the footy, all the basics really for a great golfing weekend with the boys.
Nice clean tidy rooms with lots T, coffee and milk etc. Desk staff were very polite, helpful and courteous. Would definitely stay there again. Meals and club area was excellent too but didn't eat there.
I've spent the last few months here and there staying at the Murray Downs Resort. And yes, while the rooms could be updated, they were always clean and comfortable with bottles of water provided and enough room.

Just alot of mosquito present because of the flood water hanging around.
Nice place to stay. It is across the road from the golf course, clean rooms and nice pool & BBQ area.
Rooms were great except probably need more power points. None beside the bed in room 40.
We got an upgrade which was fab. Fabulous resort.
Great Customer Service from the Manager and staff at reception, Always greeted with a smile, Always meets my additional requests. Rooms are clean an fresh.
Value for Money, I never stay anywhere else when passing threw. Its one of the better place's to stay in Swan hill.
Murray Downs Resort has always been our half way stop when travelling. To date it is a pleasant accommodation. Yes it is an outdated establishment, but every time we stayed it is clean, smells fresh, friendly staff. It has all the bare necessities to have a comfortable affordable stay.
