Murphy's Remedial Builders reviews
12 As an ex military member with a newly formed scaffold company I was eager to be a part of the Bundanoon soldiers memorial hall remedial work.
Murphys group reached out to me and I submitted a competitive quote with my payment terms being 14 days.
They agreed, however they took months to pay the first invoice and they still owe me 3 outstanding invoices.
I've called and emailed and have been often met with hostility and been told they would call me back but they never do.
Tradies beware!
I wish I read these reviews before working for them.
1 star is being generous. Worst payers I've dealt with.
We even had to clean up their site for them before we left because the one guy who was there, was their office guy who didn't know how to operate a temporary fence.
We done a few jobs for murphys group, none of them where paid on time. I keep sending emails and calling but no response. I Keep getting the run around from all of the staff. I'd stay right away from this company! Extremely unorganised and unprofessional! I am Still owed over 10k which was promised to be paid in full when the job was completed. Dougal told me he would pay but has only paid 1 invoice after chasing them and calling non stop. I'd love to enjoy my Christmas with my family too!
Recently completed contracting works with Murphy’s Group. Mark and the team are professional and easy to work with! Jobs were organised and completed to a high standard. All invoices were paid well ahead of due date.look forward to completing more works in the future.
Worked with the guys at Murphys remedial at MacArthur girls school, very good team to work with.
We completed a large slate roof restoration project in Kogarah with Murphys. They completed the whole project from start to finish with ease, using their exceptional organisational skills and forward planning. Given the size of the project they made it look easy. I look forward to working with you guys again. All payments were made on time and often in advance.
We have just completed two back to back large heritage restoration projects with Murphy's. Throughout both they were professional, friendly, easy to deal with and prompt in paying their invoices. We look forward to working with them again in the near future.

Recently completed works with Murphy’s Remedial Builders at Mac Arthur Girls School. The Murphy's team were professional, organised, accommodating and very easy to deal with! We look forward to a long working relationship with Murphy's Remedial builders, first class client and contractor.
I've had a great experience working with Murphy Group Services, they are always open to new ways of improving their business. The quality of their work is clearly evident in the amount of case-studies and large repeat clients they have.
Spend months chasing $10k out of these jokers despite getting involved in a government contract. Ignore, ignore, ignore must be their company motto. Took a lawyers intervention and the threat of court proceedings to get Mark Murphy to return a call and then just promised the usual fairy tales. A menace to the industry. Keep well away.

Mark Murphy promised to pay a $31K account on settlement of a property he was selling back in Dec 2017. He is still up to his old tricks of phone dodging and broken promises. These were state government contracts and he had to sign a stat declaration stating all contractors have been paid. He has now perjured himself. Contractors beware!
