Munmorah State Conservation Area reviews
45There are several lovely and clean beaches in the park with parking nearby. All day parking, if you don't have a pass, is less than one hour in Sydney. Two of the beaches also have great camp grounds nearby. Highly recommended.
A beautiful spot close to Newcastle but without the crowds. Miles of beach and you can always find somewhere on it without the dramas of a city beach.
Exceptional view and lovely drive. The big water hole is great if you want to get some good photos
Great place to visit, our family go there regularly. Very family friendly, Roads have just been resurfaced and usually very clean areas, BBQs and tables available, the whole area has beautiful views, toilets available National parks area so don't forget to get parking fee or you may be fined. Can be done on line or from the machines in most of the car parks, see you there
A beautiful bushland with many scenic areas and lookouts. The roads are mostly sealed/paved with a few areas leading to gravel roads and carpark areas. An entry fee of about $8 is required to enter but these toll booths are often unattended on weekends.
Walked from Moonee Beach to Frazer Park and back pretty easy trail, mostly fire trail with great views along the way.
A magical place especially Birdie nudist beach. Never dissapoints a beautiful rock pool at the northern end on the rock shelf. Never a bad day he here.

A very nice place to have a picnic and a beach walk, good place for exercise, very clean toilets
Great place that offers beautiful beaches and walks. There are amazing wild life. Careful with snakes from spring to summer
This area is interesting and so easy to reach from major population centres. Internal road resurfacing should be finished soon and that will free up internal car transport.
The walking tracks were great and loved reaching the beach after a long walk. To go straight to the beach Fraser Beach is great and is a patrolled beach. Moonee beach and Ghosties beach are not patrolled so best to stick with Fraser beach with kids.
Beautiful part of the area, roads could be better, nice drive except for a couple of maniac drivers
Stunning in its unique beauty. The trees and plants are unique to the area. This is a wild place, do not expect to have your hand held with board walks and sings directing you where to go. There are no toilets or Cafes here, as this a mostly untouched part of the coast, as it should be. You start at the beach, head north along the rocks, follow a goat trail until you find a huge drop. These are the caves, the brave can follow a trail down next to the cliffs edge, the not so brave can follow a different trail down. Good foot wear is recommended as the terrain are; cliffs made of compounded small rocks that can be loose is some parts causing potential slippage. To enter the caves a knowledge of when the tide is at the lowest is essential as you will not enter if the tide is anything but at its lowest.
*Pics to come soon.
A great place to visit for the day, with some interesting places to check out. Remember to be water safe and always fish safely.
One of our favourite beaches so far. As you walk up the track to the beach, clad beach to your right and unclad to your left. Really good break up of the beach to accommodate both preferences. Nice place to just sit and enjoy the ocean views, or go for a stroll through the cool water on a warm sunny day
Been there umpteen times fishing and just to spend the day out. Beautiful scenes and nice drive
This is a great spot to go watch the sunset or hang out with some friends. The views were amazing the the cave was something you don't see everyday
A wonderful location, tucked away in Lake Macquarie. However, there is no hot hater or fires allowed on the camp sites which makes the stay not as please t during winter.
Great beaches and scenic coastal cliffs and inlets. Great for short walks or to get away for a weekend of camping at the designated camping areas. Lifeguards were present at Frazer Beach on my visit but this is subject to change depending on conditions and season.
Spectacular beach hinterland forest with wonderful specimens of beautifully twisted and knarled Angophera gum trees. The forest is extremely dry so pay attention to fire warnings or download the "Fires near me" app. Do take your own water on site as non-potable is available but drinking it is definetly not recommended.
