Mundoonan Southbound Rest Area

Medium size rest area, equipped with toilet, trucks and cars separated parking lots and picnic fry stove. Too many flies and insects. No gas station.

Had a great driver reviver experience this evening with the lovely local scouts (Gunning) who made us a cup of tea and shared their bikkies. Thanks!

Great rest stop. Well stocked and clean bathrooms. BBQ shelters and tables. Also shelters provided on some car spaces.

Good spot to stop, but a pity there wasn't any food and drink there, even though the coffee sign was showing. Ahh well.

Nice place to stop and have a Break when traveling on the hume. Undercover parking and clean.

Pulled over for a break from driving. Plenty of parking, public bathrooms available, as well as undercover spaces with chairs and tables.

Local council does a great job keeping this stop clean. Excellent work, with all the people during the holidays!

Absolute disgusting!

When I went there ladies were using the men's toilets which amazed me when they said the women's toilets were worse. The men's had no running water, every toilet was clogged and full of feaces and the stench was gagging. I can't imagine how the ladies loos looked if they were wanting to use the men's!

One thing I have noticed in all of NSW is the complete lack off or regular maintenance to public facilities by any councils or government. If I was a nsw person I would be ashamed. In comparison I have just been to Tasmania and public toilets there are amazingly clean and well maintained with regular servicing.

1 star was far too generous on this occassion. I would add photos but didn't want to go back in to start gagging again.

I thought it was great. There was a BBQ, a few table and chairs, toilets, and plenty of parking. I would recommend it to anyone needing rest on a long drive.

Nice and quiet to sleep. Only trouble is moronic idiots that think it's fun to block the toilets. I have a warning for them. Truck drivers are waiting to meet them.

A great spot to take a break! Lots of seating areas, shaded parking a good toilets. The tap water is drinkable. There are BBQ plates available.

This is a great Rest stop out off Highway. Plenty parking space for car, caravan and trucks. The parking cars space is covered. There has outlet where you can cook your food. On the back has maintained law. And, there has rain water tank but undrinkable (very much wash or rinsed). You use for drink but it need to be boils first (Health Safety).

Such a great rest stop. Just off the motorway enough to make the noise manageable. Lovely covered eating area.

Great for trucks and cars, clean area and toilets, paved/no mud. Shade and shelter. Will stop here again.

Plenty of space to park a caravan and the usual amenities for the family. It looked like it had some kind of food outlet, but we didn't investigate.

Good stop off the highway. Facilities were great and there are good covered areas to make a meal. Bring your own water as you can't drink the water at this stop

Excellent place to stop after driving many hours and the facilities were very clean to say the least.

Great! It was well lit up so i felt safer being alone. Theres a large carport where you can park out of the weather that is right next to the toilets. Perfect set up.

Great place to rest with plenty of shade bins and seats to have lunch or just a break on a long drive. The toilets are old but a kept quite clean. The bonus is its made for cars and not trucks and so there is plenty of places to park.

Was crowded but good sized toilet block, plenty tables to sit at if you wish, lots of shaded areas, plenty space to have a good walk to help you refresh too
