Mudgee Guesthouse

We stayed over the Australia Day long weekend… wonderful friendly hosts with plenty of tips for in and around Mudgee… Yummy breakfast was provided each morning.

The property was clean, spacious with plenty of room to relax inside and out with a refreshing pool awaiting us each afternoon.

We will definitely stay here again should we visit Mudgee again …

Delightful Stay. I am truly enjoying my stay at Mudgee Guesthouse! The chirping birds, the quiet semi-rural setting and a beautifully designed guesthouse. My stay is tranquil and relaxed, exactly what I was hoping for. But if you like exploring, Phill and Brigette can help with wine/tours and other activities too. My flight arrived before check in time and Brigitte kindly checked me in early after giving me a lift from the aerodrome. Brigitte and Phill are very warm, friendly and welcoming hosts and so easy to talk with. Thank you for a very enjoyable and tranquil stay

We had a great time at the Mudgee Guesthouse. Comfortable with everything you would need for a delightful getaway. Brigitte and Phil were wonderful hosts. A very stylish place to say - probably the best in Mudgee. And delicious breakfasts.

We were a group of 8 retirees who travel together annually. Mudgee Guesthouse was by far the best getaway yet in our 20 years of travel. The home is absolutely spotless and luxurious and perfect for a large group.
Bridgette & Phill are excellent hosts and we felt right at home immediately. Breakfasts were a real treat each morning with fresh home grown produce, including eggs and honey. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and Bridgette & Phill very welcoming and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at this delightful guesthouse. Bridgitte and Phill are wonderful hosts and their genuine hospitality makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk through the door. Bridgitte's breakfasts are delicious and we really enjoyed Phill's Wine Tour - a great day out. We would not hesitate to recommend the Mudgee Guesthouse to all our friends and anyone visiting the area.

The guesthouse was built in 2007 and traded as AJ's Guesthouse. After being sold in July 2020, it is now "Mudgee Guesthouse". All six rooms have ensuits. Large kitchen and several common areas as well as a pool.

Brigitte and her husband looked after our family who all stayed at Mudgee Guesthouse during our wedding weekend. They all had a fantastic time, felt very well looked after and only had good things to say!

Should be at least SIX Stars! We had three wonderful nights with Brigitte and Phill. The facilities are magnificent but we decided it was too cold to use the pool this time! Breakfast was fantastic and we had a break to remember. Highly recommended!

Everything about our stay at Mudgee Guesthouse was 5 star, from the welcome from the hosts, the surroundings, ambience and general vibe was nothing short of welcoming and relaxing. We were a group of 4 adults and thoroughly enjoyed everything on offer from the Wine Tour to the beautiful breakfasts. Beautiful guest house in great position only minutes from central Mudgee yet in a quiet and secluded location. Wonderful hosts Brigitte and Phil were friendly and helpful. A delightful 4 night stay in wine country!

My family and friends had the best experience in the Mudgee Guesthouse over the weekend! Bridget and her husband Phil went above and beyond to make our stay amazing in every way possible. From their beautiful down to earth nature & hospitality, delicious homemade gourmet breakfasts, amazing pool and well looked after rooms with sensational views of Mudgee, I honestly couldn't fault anything! Highly recommend staying here for a wonderful weekend:)

This is the second time we have used the Mudgee Guesthouse. The house is beautiful the hosts Bridgette & Phil are wonderful. I would highly recommend. We will be back.

Excellent location & hospitality by Phil & Brigitte with the accommodation providing an instant relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy home made breakfast, massage, pool, books & even a puzzle whilst enjoying all the attractions of Mudgee!

Phil and Brigitte were the perfect hosts and happy to have a chat and give advice. Rooms were clean and neat and there were other rooms to relax in throughout the house. Quite a substantial breakfast was served daily. Phil took us on a winery tour also stopping for cheese, olives and pomegranates. All very enjoyable.

Our stay was fantastic, Phil & Brigitte were the best hosts. We felt comfortable and welcomed. The rooms at the guesthouse are beautiful & very clean. Loved our stay there, and will stay there again.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Mudgee Guesthouse! Nothing was too much trouble for Phill and Bridgette. From the welcome greeting to the cooked daily breakfast, everything was done with care and perfection. If you are looking for that home away from home feel…then the Mudgee Guesthouse is for you!

This place was absolutely amazing, the cleanest accommodation we have ever stayed in, rooms were beautiful & Phil & Brigitte are the nicest people they looked after us so well, breakfasts were delicious.

My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic weekend away togather here. Our hosts were amazing and the accomadation was warm and inviting to say the least. We loved the places we visited and ate at recomended by our hosts and would recomend this to anyone wanting a peaceful relaxing retreat away from the business of life. Looking forward to our next trip back to Mudgee Guesthouse soon.
