If I could give NO stars I would - but it would not let me. I am not a gardener but was so excited - Over the last weeks I have been building my vegepod. Large. Once built I was ready to plant my seeds. I had reserved this weekend because I work full time. I received the box late in the working week but thought I will open on weekend. I was so excited to open. I opened the box and there was a whole lot seeds and bulbs and herbs that I did not order. NOT ONE SINGLE thing I ordered was in the box of 21 items. NOT ONE single item. Obviously they were not in stock, but stlil allowed me to order and it did not stop them taking my money. The worst part of all. Not a single call or message to say "We don't have ANY of your items in stock, would you like a refund, sorry for the inconvenience of allowing you to order items that were NOT In stock and taking your money. I am asking for a full refund and if you want to pick, up your seeds, you can pick them up. I am not paying to send them back to you Disgusting experience on what was going to be a fun weekend. Thank you Mr Fothergill for Nothing.

Really happy with my 'Weed Knife'. The hook on one end quickly deals with stubborn weeds even hard stemmed woody ones while the blade on the other end cuts through creepers etc.

I ordered from them for the first time for a last minute (late) Christmas gift yesterday and everything arrived today in fantastic condition. The customer service was excellent from both Jessica and Clare. I would highly recommend and will order from them again!

I bought two sachets of sunflower seeds - one double delight and other teddy bear. One of the packet it meant to have 30 seeds but had only 20. The other had only 20 instead of 25 seeds. In that 5 of them were simply chaff. What I don’t understand is, in addition to charging awful lot of money they cheat by not providing what’s stated on the packet. I strongly suggest NOT BUY products from this cheaters.
Such cheaters should not even be out there.

Excellent service from Nicole in sorting an order mix-up with replacement arriving the next day - from interstate. I will certainly continue regular purchasing from Mr Fothergill's.

Great service, Dana was an awesome help with picking appropriate seeds and plants for my grow area.

I usually buy seeds from Fothergills. Today I found that Yates give you better value for money. For example, the Fothergills strawberry seeds packet has 25 seeds in it; the Yates variety has 325 seeds. Fothergills is more expensive too.

Love the hydro kits and they have excellent support and advice which is immediate

In july i bought sunflower, sweet corn, beans and cucumber seeds.expiry date august 2022.1st week of september i planted and not one germinated.i planted again 3rd week for staggered pickings.now 2nd week of october and no sign of shooting.very disappointing.

I placed an order with Mr Fothergill's for a pocket chainsaw which worked ok I also purchased some of their seeds, I think they are cheaper at Bunnings.
I rang the company as the packet of Nemophila penny black actually had NO seeds in the pack. The lady who answered said she would send some more to me but they never arrived unfortunate.

After two seasons of trying to grow cucamelons and failing to germinate all but 2 seeds, I reached out to Mr. Fothergills. Dana was quick to respond, provided helpful advice and sent through a replacement seed pack for me to try again. The customer service within this company is excellent, highly recommend.

Fantastic customer service. Went above and beyond to assist me with my seedling troubles as I was confused with weeds my soil was unfortunately loaded with. I have been purchasing Mr Fothergill's seeds for sometime now with some success but after relocating to Port Stephens (which is very sandy soil) I was having trouble get my seeds to germinate correctly. After sending an email to Mr Fothergill's asking for advice within 24 hours they responded asking for more details which I supplied them with a couple of photo's & the next day I had a detailed point by point on what action I should take. Since then within no time I can see a marked improvement of there development. Totally recommend this organization for their seeds & excellent customer support.

Great follow up service from their Horticultural Advisor (Dana). Ssupport and advice was most helpful, prompt, and well-explained, particularly for a 70 plus newie gardener. Thanks again.

Their seedlings propagate quickly e.g. Rocket seeds were up in 3 days.

Their propagating plastic devices are well designed and very easy to use.

Their sprouting seed varieties grow very quickly on the widow sill.

Their plastic 5-tier circular seed sprouting device works especially well.

Great range of products very competitively priced.

The support staff reply to email requests usually on the same day. Various other companies often take a week, or more, to reply.

Fantastic products. I was especially pleased with the customer service I recieved when asking for advice on my sprouts. I asked a question via Instagram chat on Sunday night and Dana their Horticultural Advisor contacted me on Monday morning with all the information I needed. Would definitely recommend.
