We purchased a Hiace van from Mr car for $16,600. They stayed open late on a Sunday to let us inspect the vehicle and take a test drive. We agreed on the price and paid a deposit. The in dash stereo was not working and we agreed to purchase the car and fix it ourselves with a discount offered by the dealer. When we picked the car up a week later the dealer had fixed the stereo and a variety of other little things on the car that we had not asked him to fix. The dealer also upgraded the warranty for the vehicle at no charge. I know this dealer sits in the middle of an empty industrial complex and might look questionable. However, that was far from our experience and they were trustworthy and reliable and very pleasant to deal with.

Very genuine people, honest do deal with, no pushy sales tactics, we were very comfortable to deal with them over the phone, purchased an unseen vehicle over the phone, got it delivered and we just loved it, car looks prettier than photos. Thank you very much really appreciate your service

I bought a cosmetically beautiful Fiat Punto from this dealer.
I have never owned a semi automatic car before, and it would slip gears when I had it in manual mode. I thought it was just me not putting into gear correctly so I drove it in automatic only.
I had the car serviced, just prior to registering so that everything remained current.
Unfortunately, 6 months after purchasing, the radiator hose had to be replaced.
Three months after that I was in a local car park when I lost all gears, the dash board displayed ‘transmission failure’. I contacted a local transmission specialist who came and performed a diagnostic test on the car, and informed me the computer was not working. I got the car towed home and contacted ‘Mr Car’
At this stage I had owned the car for 9 months, and the dealership informed me there was nothing they could do. I contacted the Department of Fair Trading, who advised me of the next steps to take, but warned me there may be nothing they can do as the mechanical failure occurred outside of the first 3 months of ownership. Fair training counted Mr Car, but unfortunately they would not assist me in anyway.
So I am out of pocket- $6250 + expenses adding up to just over $7000 down the drain.
I have never given a bad review to any business in the past, but I feel I should warn others so they can do their research and maybe get a mechanic to check over a the vehicle before buying from this dealership.
Additt: in response to your reply, you are being dishonest again, I have receipt to prove my date of purchase.
