Good selection of bamboo, advice provided was excellent and purchased a different type of bamboo thanks to the advice

I started the day with no knowledge of Bamboo, thanks to James at Mr Bamboo, i learnt a TONNE. He was so patient and listened intently to the problem i was trying to solve. James suggested a few great options and also gave me some great tips on how to safely plant! Thanks James, i really appreciate the first class customer service.

Highly recommended! I only have good things to say about Paul and the Mr Bamboo team.
We have a tricky Inner West terrace with no side or rear access, and a big stand of bamboo which hadn't seen maintenance in years.
We had Mr Bamboo out in early January to take a look, and they were to return in early February for the works. The weather however had other ideas, and due to the heavy downpours, things got postponed. However, Mr Bamboo was great each time (weather being the one thing nobody can control), giving us an updated date quickly.
After a few weather cancelled attempts, the weather finally behaved and Hamish and James spent the morning clearing, trimming and tidying up our big stand of bamboo. They were also careful with taking the cuttings through the house (only way to get rid of it), and by the end of works, the yard looked *so* much better.
The much tidier bamboo is far, far more managable from our perspective now, while still providing that lovely screening and privacy. It's also not pushing on the fence any more!
Very happy with every dealing and communication we had with Paul and the team, and the end result has been exactly what we were hoping for.

Awesome experience with the team at Mr Bamboo. Spent time advising us on best variety for our needs, explaining how to plant and care for the bamboo to get the very best from it. And said to call any time once planted if we had any questions. Exceptional customer service - delivery guy even offered to bring all bamboo up several flights of steps for me.

Paul and his team did an amazing job in the bamboo in our backyard. What was a absolute mess of overgrown and warped bamboo is now perfect! Couldn’t be happier with the results. Paul arrived when he said, work incredibly hard, tidied everything up and gave clear instructions for me to help maintain it moving forward. Great business and 10/10 rating.

Their prices are decent, good stock, good quality plants. However, one plant got chopped in one of the canes during the delivery. When i complained the delivery guy came back with a significantly short plant instead. When I asked if I can get to buy the damaged tall plant in 90$ instead 120$ in addition to the short plant he said no and that they advertised it as 2m. That is a bit annoying because it ended by me getting one short plant.

Update: the bamboos established and looks great! I am very happy so changed the review to 5 stars!

Needed healthy established bamboo and tiger grass for a photo shoot and after looking at several local Nurseries we found the perfect selection at Mr Bamboo, Thank you Roxy for your wealth of knowledge and smile

Nice bamboo nursery, lots of variety of bamboos, and friendly service with good tips of how to look after bambooWe found 2 pots of beautiful red tongue bamboos from here, really like it

I had purchased 3 plants a couple of years ago and they are doing really well, so I recently went back to purchase 4 more, I had help on how to get more out of my current bamboo and what I need to do to keep them thriving. They have been helpful with recommendations from what type and what the different types will do and look like as they grow. Very helpful and knowledgeable. I have purchased the temple bamboo at placed them in pots so they do not spread into other yards. I highly recommend for great fence screens and decorative.

Mr Bamboo is such a beautiful nursery, highly recommend a visit to check out all the bamboo varieties. Staff are very helpful, know a lot about the varieties and happy to answer questions. It's the only place we go for our bamboo.

Guy was super helpful, gave us great advice around what was best for our garden, not for his sales.

There is a woman that works there she is quite rude and unfriendly that’s why it loses a star.but the place has amazing products and after speaking her I spoke to a guy that couldn’t be more helpful and polite, so try to swerve her and look out for him is my advice

A hidden away garden gem. Definitely worth a visit if wanting to get out of the house. Friendly staff, refreshing serenity.

I’m very happy to endorse Mr Bamboo. I had a large wall of bamboo along the side of my house which had not been maintained for several years and had grown out of control. I spoke to Paul and he came in and provided a quote to trim down and clean up the bamboo. This was a large job but nothing was too much bother for them. The communication from the office was excellent and the team arrived on time and did a great job. The area was left clean and we are happy with the result.
