Moyas Juniper Lounge reviews
71Stunning experience, one of the better spirit longues I've been to. Good amount of cosiness, great atmosphere. Multiple cocktails here are extremely pleasant. Martini Mondays are super affordable, with high quality gin. Staff are some of the most knowledgeable I've met, with them being able to pick out the best gins for my specific tastes. Absolutely cracker, if you're drinking in redfern, this is definitely one of the places to be.
A great Gin place with a good variety of cocktails. Friendly staff and excellent service. The interiors are very nicely done to give an excellent ambience.
This place was an absolute vibe. Came in at 8pm on a Tuesday and barely got a seat! Live jazz band and performer set the scene. My only complaint was the drinks service was really slow. Took 15 minutes to get a drink as there was only 1 waitress for the whole venue. Cost of entry was free and parking is easy. Very discreet entrance. Still, a pretty cool venue. Will update review when I visit again.
You wouldn't think much of this place from the outside but the second you get in the venue and atmosphere is amazing.
Worst service I’ve ever come across - seemed to have misunderstood that they are in the ‘hospitality’ industry. Incredibly rude. Incredibly slow. Amazing little bar up the road, Arcadia. I totally recommend. Go there!
Nice jaz bar. It was quite crowded so we shared the table with other people. Most of the drinks they prepare have gin which I don’t like but they are happy to make other stuff
Really good cocktails with a huge range of gins (100s!), but the service last night was terrible. Bartender was very rude, my friend tried to order us all cocktails before we arrived as we were heading to a show after, and he refused to make the cocktails until we were all there, only made hers. Took 20 minutes to make cocktails when it was pretty empty. Said it was table service and wouldn't take orders at the bar, but was too busy making cocktails to come take orders. If service was better, I'd be more inclined to come back, but it ruined the night.
Wonderful, hidden, cocooned away. A speakeasy on frictionless rails taking you to cocktail heaven. Talented staff, relentless attentive service. Cheese, meats and pickles - faultless. Unspoilt by w*ankery. A must do in Sydney.
Great little place especially if you like a twist on your gin. Seating could be a bit more comftable but otherwise worth the visit, staff lovely.
Without doubt one if the best bars I have been to in some time. Seamless from start to finish and cocktails that sets a benchmark for Sydney. Bar staff exceptional, interior and atmosphere….
Super cost spot, speakeasy vibes. Friendly staff to chat to and get gin recommendations from if you sit at the bar. Great Gin selection and home made tonic too!
I love the vibe of this place, even when there’s no live band. But when there is, oh best bet I’m staying til closing
Our new favourite bar.
And five years on it still is. We keep coming back for great classics as well as the trying out specials.
Listening to smooth jazz and drinking negronis on a Sunday evening at Moya's. There's not much else I'd rather be doing.
Very unique and full of character. Loved it! The staff were very nice and attentive. Drinks were great. Jazz was great. Will return!
Blown away at the cocktails, friendly service and overall vibe. I will definitely be coming back for the live jazz.
This place is the best cocktail bar in Sydney, service, music and drinks are as great as the Vibe. James is the guy to chat to!
Great ambience and vibe here for some relaxed drinks with a good friend or someone special. It feels especially cozy and warm in the cold weather we’ve been having.
Drinks wise it tends a bit more “old school” or “grandma chic” feeling, in a good way. Lots of gin forward drinks.
Nice music and not too busy place. We were a group of 7, went on a Saturday evening at 7pm. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Would love to come when there is a live music
Small bar with lots of atmosphere, quiet jazzy music which allows you to have actual conversations without having to shout, excellent cocktails and gin selection. Amazing staff!
