These guys serve the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, I’ve had family birthday dinners here, anniversary dinners here and it’s always phenomenal food. They deserve so much more clout for the service and food provided.

This Chinese restaurant is one of the best in the hills and it has been as long as I have been alive. I used to come here with my parents and now I bring my wife.
It’s good old Chinese food like you will remember from your childhood and the family that owns it are super nice and provide great service.
Definitely check it out if you have a hanckering for Chinese food

Large restaurant decorated like the old fashion Chinese restaurants we use to go to as kids. Food is great, service is friendly and timely. Great for families and kids, with fish tanks containing live fish. Love this place for large groups.

This restaurant is my no. 1 favourite for peking duck! Quality of food & service is wonderful. Can’t wait to come back for my next visit.

I won’t recommend. Rice is not fully cooked. Chicken given to us are all bones not much meat. Portion is small. No lift access for ppl with mobility problem.

Worst dinner and worst service we have ever experienced! Saturday night group of 6 for early Mothers Day. Took 20mins for someone to take our order. Then and almost an hour for first simple entree of Sang Chow Bow. The another 20mins to get second entree. Then waited another hour before someone come over to ask “so is that everything for you? ” Having just witnessed another table of people storm out in anger we should have done the same. Obviously the kitchen mucked up. It took another half hour for all our mains to be served. Two and a half hour ordeal. No apology. The food was absolutely awful. The meat was grey and mushy like jelly. As were the prawns and chicken. The special fried rice was the worst, gluggy and chunks of spam ham. Yuk. First time we’d ever walked out leaving most of the food (?) on the plates. And…the staff were mostly under age children as young as 9 year old by the look. Surely this is wrong?
We are all hoping we don’t get food poisoning or msg migraines. Do yourself a favour - don’t dream of going to Mountain View Chinese.

I have been a loyal customer for 20years as this place had excellent food. For the last few times I’ve been disappointed by the poor quality of the food. The vegetarian ‘fried’ rice was gluggy, mushy, and like a solid block with hardly any vegetable. The beef was fatty, tough and stringy with more onion than beef.

The way this place cooks food is no longer to our taste. Maybe others like this type of Chinese, but it’s not for me.
