Mount Carmel Retreat Centre

I attended this location for a retreat recently and absolutely loved my stay. The management were very friendly and sincere, food was great. And rooms were above average in cleanliness.
The grounds are stunning and make you feel you are in a far rural setting.

Food and outdoor areas were excellent as per other reviews. Staff members were very helpful and hospitable. It would score 5 stars easily.

However, there were a few other groups who chatted and sang just a little too loud. Laughters and talking could be heard in bedroom coming from meeting room and corridors from 10: 00-11: 40pm which was extremely annoying. It will be ideal to have some sort of noise restriction/curfew for all retreat centre users at night.

We stayed here for a 2 night retreat & practiced using ice baths. It was only about a 1hr drive from Sydney located in a rural setting with a lovely small lake that had numerous bench seats strewn around it for quiet contemplation.
The rooms were basic without ceiling fans, air-conditioning or heating but the food was superb!

This establishment was extraordinary, The beautiful places to pray and grow closer to God. I was extremely fortunate for the opportunity to really widen my knowledge about religion.

Terrible, i saw many people in white robes, this establishment is nothing but a club house for the corrupt and powerful.this hub of decadence and degeneracy should be cleared for agricultural land that can be used to feed the starving workers here.many of them said that they had to stay on the grounds and were not permitted to leave.

I came 3 times too a Retreat. And I can only say. I just. Richard.my Batterie again.

A wonderful place for a retreat. Extensive grounds with loads of beautiful places to walk, reflect and rest. Rooms are very comfortable. Food is plentiful and great. Various conference rooms and sitting rooms are also available. The main chapel is very simple and imbued with prayerful peace. A prayer room is also available all day.

I cannot speak more highly of this place. I attended a school spirituality retreat here and was very impressed. The rooms were outstanding with clean ammenities along with a great shower. The food was 10/10 and extremely tasty. The grounds are very stunning along with the beautiful chapel.
