Lot of caravans and you will be watched from the moment you arrive, very uncomfortable feeling, absolutely beautiful town and area, obviously issues though! Do support this town though on your way through

Great place to camp. Free camp with, toliets, bbq, dump point and water refill station. Guyra is a great little town to support. Motor museum for $2 entry an absolute must.

Beautiful wetland, and you can walk for about 2km around the edge. We saw a huge variety of water birds, not just ducks but swans and ibises as well.

A great place to relax with birds around you.
Today is a celebration of 50 years since the area was declared a national park.

Sit by the edge of the Golf Course, Listen to the birds and frogs. Lunch from the Bakery.
Green and wet and lovely in Guyra at last.

Every Saturday from 5pm to 8pm there is a little yellow Jeep converted into a coffee truck and the Grill Monkeys are along side selling awesome burgers, chips and cold drinks.
The burgers are bloody lovely And good banter from the lads.
Bloody great location too. Bring a chair and watch the sunset with ya mates or ya family and it's also next to a free camping ground.
Come check it out folks.

Great free camping spot on the outskirts of Guyra. Minimal facilities - toilet block only - there's also a bowlo nearby for a feed and a beer.

Nice view but is susceptible to droughts. The area is clean and fairly cool. The lagoon had no water at the time.
