Mortdale Community Centre reviews
28Lovely day to do my No vote referendum. People in this area is just friendly and parking is good when I got there.
Drive past all the time, but didn't realise how big the park was next to the community centre. Things to do for kids of all ages, from small cycle/scooter track, to flying fox, swings, climbing apparatus, basketball courts... The community centre itself is great for parties. Big space with a kitchen and toilet facilities, even has a projector and audio system to pump the tunes and get on the dancefloor...
Hall is spacious, well maintained, and everything was as expected. Good communication and easy booking system. Recommend.
Spacious, plenty of space for kids and parking. We enjoyed our event that we went to at Mortdale community centre
Held an event for my daughter here and it was wonderful. The site is spacious, plenty of tables/chairs and there is a great outdoor playground. If you are considering holding an event, definitely consider Mortdale Community Centre!
Don't respect your wishes. "No junk mail" means NO junk mail. Not "please give me two".
Fantastic. Maree is an absolute sweetheart. Nothing is too much to ask. She is good with ideas, feedback and comments
Spacious, airconditioned and good for party. Have a childrens playarea. Kitchen, toilet facilities available
It's a great place if u have young children there's undercover seating for adults while kids are playing
Great playground for toddlers and big kids. The climbing structure is high up and challenging, certainly keeps my boys entertained. There's also a small scooter/balance bike section that would have been good if it was across a bigger area. Toilets nearby. Bbq facilities too. Just wished there's a coffee shop nearby
Nice cleanark with a very high slide accessed by rope tower or ladder tube. Two shaded bbq.netball and basketball courts.
Playground is rad, especially for 4-7 year olds: huge climbing frame, ropes, slides, plus flying fox. Good scooter/bike track, and toilets and covered tables. Not a lot for very young kids, otherwise awesome.
Great park with good variety of play equipment and sufficient toilet facility. The large metal slide is not made very well as there's a slight bump at the end, causing half the kids complaining of pain to their buttocks.
Worth travelling from the Shire. Lots to keep the kids entertained for 2-3 hours. Flying fox, street signs for the bikes, tall climbing equipment with a fast, steep slide, swings, basketball and soccer courts, small slides for the smaller kids. Good fun and plenty of places for parents to sit or barbecue
Great for kids and adults. Would like to see a kiosk there. The big slide a little dangerous as it come down too fast.
Amazing playground! Great for big and little kids with massive climbing area and tree-house style platforms. Flying foxes and barbecues. Only needs a coffee cart to be perfect!
One of the best kids parks around, but the climbing equipment is HIGH.beware for parents afraid of heights if you have to rescue a kid like I had to. But from a kids perspective, it has the right amount of risk and safety in its design.
Fantastic park with loads of options for the kids including a huge climbing rope/slide, junior basketball courts and a bike course. Area for the little ones with padding and swings. Bathrooms at the centre and it's only a short walk to Mortdale shops.
Good place for communities 'till 100 person; especially on Sunday as there are parking spots, children playing, a park, and inside the centre a wide meeting area with projector, audio, kitchen, child room and restroom.
It's a great place really, but the floor in the main hall is absolutely foul. Maybe it's the cleaner not doing his job? I dont know but I do physical culture there in the hall and always get something stuck or pinned into my foot and it's painful. All im asking is for the cleaner do do his job
