Lovely staff, great boat, especially the one with the spa at the front. Very cheap for a good day out with their kids, dolphins or no dolphins fantastic day

I learned that positioning is very important to see dolphins. Sometimes, when two dolphins jump as if doing tricks, people's cheers make me feel happier. Thank you seagull! I was able to spot dolphins following you. A cup of coffee on a cruise gave me as much happiness as a seagull spotting a dolphin.

Staff looked after us really well, firstly waiting for one of us to organise parking then showing us to the 'best seats in the house' where we saw a mother and her calf gliding along in front of the boat. Great day and highly recommended.

Went out yesterday on The Osprey from Nelson Bay Marina. Brilliant day. Boat is excellent and the skipper and crew are spot on. Got to see plenty of humpback whales doing some breaches and fin slaps. They were awesome. On the way home we saw local dolphins. Skipper gave a great commentary. Totally enjoyed this trip and anyone who books it will not regret it. This was a great experience. The day was off to a little hiccup as there was an issue, but credits to the staff we were under way pretty quickly. The boat wasn’t over crowded and you could buy drinks chips and chocolates on board. We didn’t think we were going to see a whale but with nature that happens, then on the way back he popped up and put on a big show. We also seen some dolphins and took a ride past to see some seals. All in all a great day. I would do it again.

We went on a cruise on a weekday, wasn’t too crowed and was a good experience. We saw a few humpback whales that were migrating, some seals and some dolphins! The captain was very informative and friendly and gave commentary the whole trip. Remember to bring a jacket, some sunnies and sunscreen!

My husband and I had a wonderful time the captain was great with the boat and talking us through the day.

We have been on multiple Moonshadow cruises spanning over more than a decade. They never fail to provide an enjoyable experience. All family/ extended family and friends who visit Port Stephens will be booked onto one of their cruises whilst visiting us. We love the Splash and Slide the most but also would recommend the Whale and dinner cruises.

Wowow, it was amazing how much fun they managed to pack into a 2hr Window. The kids had a blast.

Lovely and friendly crew, always keen to help you and giving tips during the trip on what to do around Port Stephens. We have booked the wrong date to go to Broughton Island and the crew helped us and let us get on the boat to do not lose our trip there.

We went as a large group - 6 adults and 5 kids for a 1.5hr cruise. I thought at that length of time, there'd be no slide activity. I was wrong. It actually ruined our cruise. Yes the dolphins were nice (if not a bit scarce that morning), but all hell broke loose over the slide. Children itching to go, toddlers crying because they were too small to go, instructions being shouted. My 7 yo was 4th in the water. She couldn't get out - despite being repeatedly screamed at by the boat crew. The boat kept moving, pushing her back, and she was powerless to get out of the way of the next slider. Hubby had to rescue her. It was poorly run and not a fun experience for just about anyone - not sure why the boat had to keep moving while the slide was operational. At the end of the cruise, we stopped at Dutchman's Beach for 10 mins doing nothing not an experience I'd repeat again soon

We attended the Splash and Slide tour on Saturday and had a great time!

The crew were friendly, itinerary well thought out and all in all it was a fantastic day.

Would massively recommend this tour if you want to see dolphins but also have plenty of water time

My partner and I love moonshadow. We have been on at least half a dozen times now and are never disappointed. We recently did the valentines twilight dinner cruise and it was perfect. Romantic and intimate, and the food was delicious as well as the cocktails.

Sadly the dolphins were shy on our visit and we didn't see any. However if you don't see dolphins the first time you get an extra trip free of charge. On the second chance we saw many dolphins and giant wild turtle. Water was 22 degrees and riding in the boomnet was alot of fun. Lovely staff. Highly recommended.

Was a wonderful day. Within 5 minutes of the cruise starting the captain had sighted dolphins. We were told some facts and info about the dolphins. Was a very smooth ride, refreshments on board and the slide and boom net.

We had a lovely afternoon on Moonshadow V even if the weather wasn't great. We originally booked a 'Splash and Slide' cruise but due to not enough bookings, we were transferred to a different cruise. The staff were very helpful and apologetic. The boat was very comfortable. We saw a pod of dolphins in the bay and my teenage daughter enjoyed sitting in the boom net on the way back. The price was very reasonable.

We had a dolphin cruise and had a excellent time. Could not recommend them any higher. Great service. The staff were very friendly.

The captain and his crew were really passionate about the cruise and told us all about the whales, dolphins and seals. We saw two whales and travelled alongside them for quite a long time.
