Monkey Mania Moore Park reviews
54Staff are friendly enough, but it’s seriously the saddest playcentre on earth. It’s tiny and food prices are exhorbitant
A nightmare for parents: overcrowded, dirty and overpriced, but our toddler had fun so I guess that's what counts. We'll stick to Planet Mino.
Great place kids love it! However pls fix the entry gate upstairs as it doesn’t close on its own so it’s open most of the time as people go in and out, which I find very unsafe.
We love the centre however we did not love the fact that it was overcrowded and unsafe for younger kids. I had to leave because it was way too crowded to be safe.
My child had a fabulous party at Monkey Mania Moore Park! Thank you so much guys, my child had the best time, and all the kids had a blast.
It’s a nice place to take kids during rainy days but I’m giving 2 stars because it’s filthy. It’s the dirtiest kids indoor playground I’ve ever been.
We visited monkey mania yesterday afternoon for the first time. I’m not usually one to complain but I’m appalled at how dusty, dirty and unkept the place was. This is supposed to be a safe enjoyable place for our little ones but it was filthy! Compared to Planet Mino where they have cleaners walking around cleaning, I would never visit monkey mania again.
2 stars for the friendly staff and it has a nice atmosphere.
However, zero star for hygiene and cleanliness. Floors looks like it hasn't been mopped/ vacuumed in years. Climbing around the facilities itself is quite filthy and dusty. I feel ewww even with my socks on.
Please do something. We love Monkey Mania. ️?
Wouldn't recommend to celebrate kids birthday in there.specially on weekends that place is just crazy. Everything messed up. Too noisy, coffees too expensive. Need to limit the amount of people going inside on weekends. Floor was so dirty. Disappointed
Given the location of this Kids play centre, I would have thought the quality / and cleanliness would be of a higher standard. Went under duress and was disappointed, to say the least. Hopefully when they reopen, things will get better.
I felt it's very cogested and crowded. Also they were allowing older kids to babies play area under 3year olds. My little one could not enjoy there due to this.
It’s very disappointed, such a small and crowded place! The floor was very dirty, everywhere was very messy. They never think about their capacity that’s too crowded inside it’s dangerous for kids and also very poor experience for parents. We have to spend more than one hour to wait for our food otherwise we could leave immediately. Poor management, won’t come back.
My daughter loves this place but I cringe at how dirty it is. I was the first one in there the other day and it was very dirty. Debris everywhere. Rubbish in the toddler area. And there was no paper in the bathrooms. I would also love to see a healthy option on the menu. There was nothing I’d feed my family from there. So much potential
Disappointed. The place was so old and dated and equipment broken. Waited 50 mins for my food order for my 2 year old twins; it was not busy. Eventually got their food but my order did not come. I asked for a refund and left. Needs a complete upgrade. Not at the level of Little Dynamos or Planet Mino, sorry: (
Pretty good, my kid had lots of fun fo an hour and half.its compartmentalised into different sections. I know that pple complain about dirtyness but thats only on the ceiling or really hard to reach nonaccessible areas.
Equipment not maintained (ball guns not working for over 1 year, ball basket not working, piano mat key broken for over 2 years.etc.the list goes on). Toilets always dirty. Half the menu is unavailable most days. There is wifi however "no one knows the password", quoted by the staff themselves.
And also very expensive. They can afford to maintain the place surely!
Good fun for kids 2 to 8. Staff seem confident, despite young age, but perhaps some of the confidence would be better substituted with experience.
Play areas seemed exciting and generally safe. Large slide seemed injury prone though, so be careful with younger kids.
The ball guns didn't seem to work or didn't have enough balls. Pity as it was half the play area, but the kids didn't mind.
My granddaughter loved the indoor playground. There was lots for her to do. Entry price was reasonable and you are permitted to bring your own food and drink. A great day out for a toddler.
As there is no one to monitor the under 3 year old section there were 6-7 older children in there today, kids just having fun but knocking babies over in their path, and the parents unable to contain them. Myself and a few other mums mentioned this to the parents, who were completely disgruntled at the thought there bigger kids weren't allowed to access this area! Telling us were silly and to calm down. Its not the staffs job to control self entitled Sydney mums, who don't watch their older children around babies, in a baby area. But MM needs to come up with a better system, maybe at check in if any children are 3 years and over staff could mention the baby section is out of bounds. I wouldn't have minded 1 or 2 older toddlers in there today, but 7 in such a small space running a muck was too much. We ended up pulling our babies (14 months out) as a result, and did not enjoy the experience. Plus the coffee took an hour as the staff member at the Cafe couldn't make coffee or put anything through the till until her co worker returned. Really an hour for a coffee, its pretty pathetic. But in saying that the staff are lovely! Maybe they are understaffed, especially when it's raining and the place is full.
We had our daughters 5th birthday party there this september 2020 and she loved it! The food was good. (We got the gorilla package) The staff made sure she was happy and all her friends had a good time. Would recommend to anyone who is thinking of a fuss free birthday.
