Monkey Mania Bankstown reviews
76Extremely dirty, thick layers of dust on the play equipment so very unhealthy, this place should be Reported to the heath organisation
Great place for kids and food is good. Friendly staff with great customer service. Very clean venue.
If I could give 0 stars to Monkey Mania Bankstown, I would.
My child who has special needs was asked to leave the premises all because he did not have socks on in the play area. The manager (older man with white hair) asked us to leave immediately. I understand their are rules to be followed, although I explained my child does not wear socks, he REFUSES to wear socks due to his DISABILITY. The manager dismissed what I said and went on about saying he did not want other parents to complain. No parent around seemed to have an issue by it though. We had already been here for quite some time and no other parent had said anything. The manager was rude, dismissive and continuously cut me off every time I tried to explain myself. Even after he walked away, he continuously kept looking back to ensure we had left. I will not be bringing my child back here, and I suggest others not to bring their child/children if they have special needs!
Simply amazing atmosphere and amazing staff
Have a young one witn autism and they have gone above and beyond to help out.
STOP CLOSING EARLY. 3 times now I have come at 4pm with my kids to play for an hour before having dinner at one of the restaurants and you’ve been closed! I drive half an hour to get there, get 3 kids out of the car, one is a baby in a pram, only to be told you’re closed. It’s a joke.
Today was my first time visiting Monkey Mania in Bankstown. I was so impressed at how clean the venue was and how well presented everything was.
There is such a wide variety of activities for the kids to engage in and they were never bored. I was also so impressed that they offered a breastfeeding chair! Seems simple, but it’s the first time I’ve been to a Playcentre that has that available (and I’ve been to many). The manager Nicolas is also so so friendly and over accommodating. Will definitely return soon
Had my sons party here recently and he was very happy! Kids had a blast, our host was lovely and the kids enjoyed their food. The adult fruit platter was 50% honeydew/unripe pineapple which was disappointing and the desk people gave my partner massive amounts of grief after leaving to take my sons presents to the car and refusing to let him come back in to pick up more things. After spending hundreds of dollars you would think a little common sense would’ve prevailed. Luckily my kids and our guests had a great and issue free time!
A fun place for kids but not very impressed with the party bags containing items which were past their expiry date.
We had a bithday party here recently. The party room, birthday cake, and adults catering were all managed very well. The kids loved the visit from the monkey and had a great time running and climbing around the indoor play area.
We had a bit of a mix up with the cake and adult platter order. The manager was very professional and helped to resolve the problem immediately. In the end the day went off without a hitch. We are grateful for the excellent customer service.
It's a very good place for kids activities or birthday parties with four different styles of function rooms.
I went recently to celebrate my kid birthday. I spent utmost but disappointed as the party host was not well managed. They missed Max the monkey to show the kids what was on deal, n my kid cried when she remembered that her all friends missed the chance to play with him. So, Even I spent a lot, she was unhappy. They didn’t even give balloons was expected.
So overall I was not happy.
I'm really pleased with the service I received today from all of the staff members especially Yasmine and Eli, so welcoming and understanding towards me and did their utmost to make my day enjoyable as possible as well as my family, because of them I'm definitely coming back! Manager there Nicholas is so professional and compassionate towards customers, for the first time in years my 9 year old son felt validated and treated with respect because of him. We need people like him everywhere! Thanks Nicholas you're a champ
We went to a party there. The staff weren't that attentive and didn't engage with the children much. But it was very busy. There were a few broken and patched up parts in the play centre. It was in better condition then some of the other play centres I've seen. The kids had an absolute blast. So that's the main thing. Hard work to get my son out. He wanted to go home for a nap then go straight back!
The manager was very friendly and nice. It’s fun to play. My son spent a whole afternoon there, Playing ball game and climbing. Food price is reasonable.
Great play centre for kids of all ages. The gentleman at the service desk is amazing. Customer service was exceptional, and he was great with kids. Welcoming, friendly, caring and helped out us out a lot. Leaving a great impression of how well this place is run with him here. My son and I will be coming back here for sure. The play area is clean and have a variety of things for kids to play and do. There's an arcade area with all sorts of arcade machines and ticket prize games. Food and drinks was good. My son enjoyed his time here.
This place is overpriced for what it is. $16.50 for a child and $4.50 for a parent. You come in and the actual playground is tiny (compared to others in the area like chipmunks). The playground itself is dirty, there isn't anyone watching what's happening on the slides and enforcing rules like not climbing up the slide, it's a kids free for all.
Charging parents to enter is a bit rich and trying to make up for it by giving a drinks voucher but would be better off having no charge and no voucher and I might have considered buying more while in there.
They have an arcade area but need to fork out more money for it, they could give you a free token or 2.
Definitely not worth the money wish we had gone somewhere else. Little perplexed at people's positive reviews.
Good for the kids. Need to be able to incorporate the use of the sports club membership. Equipment need to be updated.
Witnessed the manager publicly shame a Mother for breast feeding and advised her that there is an area at the back with a curtain where she can feed.
This is a child's play area. The audience is Mothers and children who majority would have just gone through breast feeding and understand, let alone it is law that a mother is able to FEED her baby anywhere she needs to. Do you hide behind a curtain when you need to eat or drink?
Disgusting treatment of a mother.
This place has lovely staff. Shout out to the nice old man that gave me free drink and fries for long waiting. Has lot of entertainment for kids to enjoy. Like rock-climbing, play house, bouncy castle and an arcade. The cafe has pretty good food. This is a kid friendly place. I would definitely come back with my family and Friends again!
I would like to thank Nicholas for his efforts to tend to me and my daughter when she fell and hurt her ankle.
He was kind and caring and made sure to check in and made sure there Wes every avenue from medical centre to first aid She was fine and playing 10mins later.
Nicholas is amazing and running a tight ship at the money mania Bankstown NSW establishment making sure everything is going smoothly and safe for everyone to enjoy and have fun.
And he also looking out for the kids safety.
