Really good experience! I went to Moneytax for the first time and felt very well looked after. The refund came through quickly and the tax agent was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions.

Very impressed with them and gave us a lot of advice and attention via the annual tax process

Absolutely the worst tax centre and a huge waste of time. Both James Haywood and Robert Grafton offered zero financial support or advice. Emails are not read prior to meetings and I had to keep pointing out things to look out for. After all that, instead of offering advice on how best to lodge my tax returns, they just leave emails with "it is best to go to another tax agent". They would not reply my phone calls. Absolutely disgraceful and unprofessional. I have wasted a few hours across 4 weeks which I could have lodged it with another tax agent. A very basic, straightforward tax returns and they cannot even manage that.
If I can give 0 stars, I would.

** After my tax returns have been deemed satisfactory first by James, then another email followed by Robert, but I wanted to leave a feedback due to the lack of communication and pretty much a very messy process where I was frustrated that my phone calls were not returned and I had to keep following, and when I did finally manage to get a hold of the agent, I had to point out several things that was not thoroughly looked through in the email I sent. Only to get a response that they did not want to go ahead to lodge my report. All this should have been picked out in the earlier conversations not after it has been approved and signed off and invoice sent. It seems that this is all done since I have been unsatisfactory with the service, and they cannot seem to accept that I wanted to give feedback on my experience.

My husband and I decided to do our Tax Return with this company. It has been the most horrific experience! Not only the accountant that we had the appointment with was not knowledgeable, to the point where he advised me not to declare my ABN income, but also he was very disrespectful and aggressive! Furthermore, after enquiring and asking to speak with a supervisor to review our tax return, I had to phone 6 times and it took over a month for them to get back to us. Everything has been just a horrific experience where they didn’t simplify or make it easier but harder instead. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL!

My tax return was held up at the ATO's end however I received a personal call of apology from the owner of Moneytax, Ross Haywood. I was both surprised and impressed with this level of accountability as most businesses would look to shift the blame. Ross' actions were a textbook example of good customer care.

I have been using them for a few years now and found them always efficient, helpful and professional. Would definitely recommend.

It depends on which tax agent. In the past, I was able to sit down and discuss the situation to get advice / help. This time, no meeting or discussion, only email correspondence resulting in me not knowing what they needed (and therefore not providing all info needed), lots of mistakes and rework of the return. At the conclusion, $1700 was deducted from my return to cover this return and work done but not completed on other returns. When I complained and asked have my concern escalated, I was threatened by to be reported to ATO for a full audit of my tax.

I feel as though i was being rushed to get out of there. Frankly since it was my first time last year to lodge a tax return i know i was throwing them a bunch of questions but they didnt even explain them properly.they just said no to everything thats the end of discussion.

My tax return came back very quickly like two weeks and i give them that. But i woudnt come back and do business with them
