Mona Vale Hospital: Urgent Care Centre

Dr. Abigail and Kris did a wonderful job treating our one year old, this is so far our most pleasant trip to a hospital. What lovely people!

Turned up to this emergency clinic at 2am last Wednesday in excruciating pain with a suspected rotator cuff injury. I was treated by Nurse Lucy and Dr Chan, I was really impressed by both of them very professional and kind, just wanted to share my experience and I'm very grateful they were there when I really needed help.

Nurses and doctors were amazing. Our little boy needed stitches and were so incredible with him.
The receptionist however needs an attitude adjustment.

Perhaps the receptionist should be changed. Very embittered and I believe cannot stand foreigners (Maree). I put a bad rating especially for her. Already it's not easy when you're not in your country but even more so when you're sick and you just need someone who listens to you and tries to help.
The doctor was very attentive but I regret that we come to the hospital and that we are not given all the necessary tests to see what we have. I just did a urine exam and had to come back for them and had to pay another $169.plus the results were unreliable.i'm leaving having to do other exams and the pain persistent.

Absolutely wonderful staff. We just took our baby there with a cut to his eye and the nurses were lovely as was the lovely lady dr who treated him. I highly recommend and personally prefer to NBH for minor injuries. Thank you for your great care of our son!

Pretty good, they helped me out despite my head bump being more of an ER rather than urgent care as told by one of the nurses and CT scan was open so was all able to do it fairly quickly…. Lucky nothing wrong so was sent on my way within an hour or 2…

If the CT thingy wasn’t open, then I would have been sent to NBH for sure

Pretty helpful stuff and they really care about their patients, there’s a bit of wait but that’s perfectly understandable as there’s a lot of people go there for absolute no reason or any urgent matter but they look after everyone equally and fairly.

It was very reassuring having this facility open during the night, as I was experiencing shortness of breath (not Covid thankfully). The staff were amazing and I am deeply thankful for their assistance

What’s the point of feedback, if management don’t pay any attention. It should be plain by now after a year or more of complaints from the public that you have staff in your urgent care area that need to be replaced. The current staff are Abrupt, cold, and uncaring. Give some more compassionate employees a go at your public relations, it’s so horrible there.
