Had outdoor blinds installed. Had a few hitches with installation but all resolved to our satisfaction with no problems at all. Good to deal with.

I would not recommend this company tho I never got to see their work. Aa appointment was made and after taking the day off work the technician never kept the appointment. When I called the company the rceptionist was polite and put me in contact with a very rude lady who informed me that the person i had an app.with had taken the day off and SHE did not have a crystal ball to inform me.

A Massive thanks to Michael and the rest of the team at Modren Newcastle for the new roller blinds they have put in. Having already installed shutters on the upstairs bedrooms we recently installed some thinker shutter downstairs and boy can you tell the difference! Michael and the team at Modern were easy to work with and professional. We could not be more happy with the results of the install and the functionality of the shutters. They work as promised, cutting out light and blocking out heat. I would recommend the team at Modern without any hesitation.

Nov 2020 I had outdoor blinds installed at western end of my back deck - wonderful! Cut down heat during summer. So pleased with the result that 2 weeks ago, I had other outdoor blinds installed to complete the rest of the deck area! Noticed a big difference with the warmth trapped inside the house already. From start to finish, I have been most impressed with the advice and service given. When the 2nd blinds were being installed, there was a bit of an issue with the initial blind, and the tradesmen corrected that and re-checked just to make sure all was good. Everyone I have dealt with during the whole process of both installations has been friendly, helpful and respectful - delightful service! Thank you!

I had a roof restored in Maitland in 2019. I had a problem with a leak in 2021. I called and they promptly fixed the problem. As it is a rental property and I live in Sydney it saved me a lot of time and effort to fix this myself. I am very grateful to the Modern Group for replacing the broken tile so fast.

Living on a main road the Shutters have made a huge difference to reduce the noise.

We recently had our roof painted and guttering replaced by Modern group. Our dealings with both tradies and the office were excellent. The work was commenced and completed promptly and a couple of small issues were quickly dealt with to our satisfaction.
I would highly recommend them!

Have been harassed by Modern Group. I rang them to enquire about some roller shutters and decided to go elsewhere because they were expensive.

Since then I've received phone calls every couple of weeks to 'promote' new products.

Telemarketing gone mad. I've asked to be removed from their phone list and that hasn't worked. I am on the Do Not Call registery, so have just submitted a complaint to them.

Very professional helpful and friendly people. Love my new roof, couldn’t be happier, it looks amazing! Job was done fast and fuss free. Am looking forward to getting shutters from them now.

Extremely happy with from start to finish. Product knowledge was very helpful, I ended up choosing a roller block out blind. Installation took place on time, was professional and they took care. Really happy with final product and will definitely use them again.

Couldnt be happier with my roller shutter. My bedroom is cooler and I now hear no barking dogs and outside noise. Works for me but each house situation is different. Installer was very helpful and a great worker. Happy customer here

Robin Fridell, the reviewer below me is actually the franchise owner and managing director of this business. Is it even legal to do this, review your business as a supposed customer? Heavily biased and a conflict of interest one would think.
