Modern Design Wardrobes

Dreadful quality product and installation. Out of two double door wardrobes, three separate glass door panels fell off their frames within a few weeks of installation. Later, the wardrobe itself came off the wall it was installed on. Every time zero apology and assurances it would be fine - then something else would happen. Run away.

I had a great experience with these guys. I dealt with Raf and he explained everything and helped me pick out exactly what I wanted. Price was reasonable, installation was clean and they went above and beyond and fixed my existing wardrobes free of charge. Definitely use these guys again.

The product I opted for was Shaker Style doors with Internal in polytec cafe oak finish

Having used them for 2 large poly wardrobes and a hall cupboard, in our 100 year old house with 3.4m ceilings and great cornices, we were delighted by the whole process and outcome. Today, Raafat (great guy!) came out again to measure and quote for a poly living room shelving unit. As usual, on time, helpful and professional! Thanks Raafat and MDW.

Right from the beginning this company took care of everything. Fatima and Sarah always answered my questions and were so prompt when organizing installation as well as dealing with delays from our end. Rafaat worked his magic and designed wardrobes, a WIR, a huge linen cupboard and a study that where exactly what we wanted, he was honest, reliable and creative in his approach to what we needed and the space we had. Rami is the number 1 installer, careful and listened to all of my annoying questions. I wouldn't hesitate to this business again!

The experience was great from start to finish. Raafat came round to measure and quote and explained everything very clearly. The installation was seamless. Only did one wardrobe the first time but we are now getting our other wardrobe done and getting a pantry put in. Also very competitively priced.

Price is reasonable with good service. After installation if any issue they consider and fix it quickly too

Two bookshelves were designed by Rafaat, excellent design fitting to our requirements. Rafaat provided us with very helpful advice, reasonable quote with multiple detailed designs. We found Rafaat highly approachable and always ready to help. Ray installed the bookcases, excellent craftmanship, very professional with attention to details, completed all the work on time, cleaned the rooms. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The quality is terrible for the price you pay and the service is shocking. There wardrobes are so cheaply made, and they extremely lack at communicating.

I was told it takes 10 days to get a quote so I waited the day before they were meant to come. After 9 days They cancelled on me due to someone having symptoms, so they made me wait another 10 days to which I never received a call nor did they even turn up for the quote in the end.

We had awful experience with them. They overpromised and underdelivered. Very poor quality, not practical and installation was not according to the design. Staff extremely rude (aggressive) when we complained. The wardrobes were for our residential property but when we complained, Lida, the manager posted a negative review as a revenge on our business website (completely not related). I would be very cautious with them.

Today at 7: 00pm AEDT (14/12/21) I drove behind a Modern Design Wardrobes vehicle, couldn’t keep within his lane, almost caused an accident through a roundabout. I’d say if you hire this guy make sure he doesn’t stop at the pub on his way to your place.

I’d say his work looks good (based on the photos) but his respect for other drives lives is terrible.

We had installed two built-in wardrobes by Modern Design Wardrobes. They provide good quality products at a reasonable price. We were very happy with Raafat who did the measure and quote, he is professional and helpful throughout the process.

Just had some drawers and shelves installed in a wardrobe by Modern Design Wardrobes. Excellent communications, they call when they say they will call, they respond to emails quickly. From measure and quote to installation it was 14 days (!) - they wanted to install even earlier but I wasn't available. A small hiccup on the day of installation about the time of installation but not a big deal at all. It was installed in just over two hours without any issue. I had two other quotes that were $200-$300 more and were going to take longer. Very happy, will use them again!

Professional and efficient through from the first phone call to install. Quoting process was thorough and we were given great advice to configuring. Installer Rami proved to be a master tradesman and worked for 12 hours cutting a difficult understand wardrobe, replacing cabinetry on another and refitting 2 existing wardrobes. The finishes are high quality finishes and we couldn’t recommend more highly.
