Absolutely amazing experience!

Have been to other mobile repair shops and have said they can't fix. They did some poking around the speaker and charging port (not charging) and got both to work after correcting some pins even gave it a little clean in the process.

Had a charging port issue. They offered to clean it for $30. No luck. The next offer was to get a wireless charger for $45 or send it to Sydney for $140 to change charging port.

Very happy with the help I received from the Wallsend mobile phone repair shop. I came in with a phone not charging and was expecting to buy a new charger. Staff seemed more interested in getting my phone working than making a sale; poked around in the port and cleaned it out a bit; testing the phone before and after; problem solved.

What is best about Mobile Doc is their honesty. It is easy to understand why they have got so many positive feedbacks.
If they don’t have genuine parts available they will tell you and let you decide. If something doesn’t need to changed they will tell you.
I’ve come here twice and felt glad that I did.
Compare to Mobile Experts chain which is completely trash and ripped me off, this store is where you should go when you need your phone fixed.

Service technicians failed to fix my phone, installed the wrong component, lied to me several times about trouble shooting efforts and errors then started trying to cop out with 'its a mobo fault'. Talking to me like a luddite, then claimed it wasn't their fault as they could know it was an international model of the S9, despite the fact it is written inside the phone when you take off the back cover. Eventually I was able to convince him of their mistake after showing him the part number and getting him to trouble shoot again. He gave me a free wireless charging dock as an apology for wasting hours of my time, but the phone was still not repaired.

When I took the back plate off to repair the phone myself, I found that 3 screws were missing and not reinstalled. The phone works well now. Got 2 star because they gave me a free wireless charging dock after wasting hours of my time.

Absolute legend. Fixed my phone on a public holiday for no charge. Could have told me that it was something serious but checked other options. Extremely honest bloke and deserves his business to flourish.

Spoke to the staff via email regarding a charging port clean. They offered to do it for free. 5 minutes later, the phone is now charging with a cable again.

As a senior trying to get advice about smart phone glitches, it can be hard to get non patronising assistance from tech pros. Until I called in at Mobile Doc. Can wholeheartedly recommend the service here-helpful, courteous and patient, and in this instance, free.
