We hired a kayak and had a wonderful time. The staff are so friendly. Also, get a coffee, sit and enjoy the view. Just watch time go by. Perfect location.

The coffee here is always great, and so are the muffins. Beautiful spot to enjoy your morning coffee.

One of my favourite places to grab a cuppa, kick back in the sun and just indulge in the serenity. Ahhh, the serenity…

Best place to spend a nice morning in Merimbula. Kayaking, paddle boarding, nice coffee, swimming and walking.

Lovely late afternoon swim down at Mitchies Jetty. The water was wonderful, with many families down there swimming, paddle boarding and as we left, people with fishing rods hoping to catch a meal.

My partner and I booked a kayak for two in one, yesterday, we were good for 45-50 minutes until we tipped over. Tried again, tipped over. As we brought the kayak to the shallow end by the stairs a very nice man stopped and helped us (who happened to be the owner of the jetty), offered to take my phone and wallet in case I dropped it and helped rotate the kayak upside down to release A LOT of water trapped inside. We then met back where we left, the other gentlemen were nice to offer a longer ride but we had to head back to Canberra. Big thanks to the guys helping myself and my partner from a struggle. Lol.

Wonderful place to visit. A coffee or cake on the jetty or a hire a stand up paddle board or simply watch the huge Stingrays glide through crystal waters.

We had a fantastic fishing trip this morning. Scott was awesome with the kids, and really knew great fishing spots to go to. We came home with flathead already filleted and cleaned. The trip was so great that we have booked again for next week. Thanks for a great morning.

Two-person kayak didn't have seats on them and was quite uncomfortable. I asked about the seats and was told they didn't have them, which was something I thought would naturally come with a hired kayak. I guess they didn't care that much about customer experience during busy season.

Really good coffee kiosk open in the mornings. Great picnic tables, excellent swimming and really good beach walk around the river mouth.

Good spot to try SUP or kayaking. Sheltered from wind and tide. Walk around the corner for a long stretch of beach.

A great little place to take the kids for a swim. Shallow water and a great little jetty to jump off. You can hire kayaks and paddle boards from the shed next to the jetty.

Very friendly people offering SUP and Kayaking at $25 per hour at Merimbula Lake. Beach is clean, there are public toilets nearby, also shower room.
There is also water to drink and wash your feet. There are picnic tables as well. There are parking. The view is ok. Can get close to seagulls and pelicans.

Sheltered little beach with small jetty, fine sand and a bit of current to ride to the end of the beach. Best at low tide, as there isn't a huge amount of sand to sit on at high tide.

As they say take a long walk off a short bridge. In this case the bridge is the jetty and the wall is a jump into a cool refreshing river. Lots of fun to be had. Hire a stand up paddle board or kayak they are lots of fun.

Protected beach so great for swimming with kids, stand up paddle, etc when flatter water preferred to waves. Does get busy during summer, but close to main Beach so room to spread out.
