Both my hair and bangs were cut lopsided and i was charged extra for a simple cut. I'm utterly disappointed I had to try fix the hair myself to make it look more even on both sides. Again I am incredibly upset I have never had my hair cut that poorly before.

I don’t recommend this place at all. I had been there when this business had just started. I did keratin treatment and my friend had hair colour on that day but both of our hair were ruined. The chemicals they used was so strong that I couldn’t open my eyes the whole process. I started having massive hairfall after that, you can see hairline clearly because of hairfall. Won’t be going back

Took my 4yr old for a trim. 4cm straight off the bottom and took less than 3 mins which she had to stand up for whilst the hairdresser was bending down because they didn’t have the right chair. Charged 37.50$! When I said wth why that much her response was “adults cost 45$” before proceeding to doodle on her notebook. What kind of response is that? Complete rip off. I realised that they have rebranded as “lux” but it’s the same people I’ve had bad hair colour and cut from in the past. Never going there again. Stay away. They make up prices as they go. All the “deals” is for display only they don’t honour it at all.

Wash and blow dry. My hair was not washed well, not sure if conditioner was even used. Then while my hair was being blow dried straight I could smell burning hair. I asked if the smell was my hair burning and she said it was the brush. When I left I realized my hair was burnt. I have had to pay $300 at a reputable hair salon for keratin treatment so I may try and save my hair otherwise I would have to cut it quite short! I am devastated and disgusted because the owner heard me ask about the smell of burnt hair and he did nothing. I am appalled beyond belief. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!

Booked an appointment over the phone with specific request like to straighten hair and when getting there the reception staff was rude and impolite and when doing my hair no staff had communicated to actually straighten my hair, suggested for my hair to be trimmed, and cut so much off even tho i had asked for a trim, when coming to the end of the service i had asked for my hair to be straightened and they told me i should of said it earlier and that they didn’t have time, this was in my request and the girl even confirmed with me that is what i wanted, to top it off they wanted me to pay the full price including straightening and to pay it in cash, your staff need to be checked and learn how to be respectful of people hair.so disgusting

One of the worst hair dresser experiences I've experienced. The advertised price online is misleading and be prepared to pay for instore. I booked an upstyle online which was from $55.00. However when I got to the salon the hairdresser told me $150.00 for a simple pony tail with curls. I told them that the price said $55.00 when booking online, understanding the price increase for complex styled however this was very simple. But this was a simple upstyle pony with curls and the price increase was almost 3 x that amount. When I told the hairdresser I didn't want to go ahead she reduced the price to $90. The hairdresser spend 15 minutes on my hair and soaked it hairspray and was really agressive with the brushing of my hair, it was nothing like I wanted and looked like I could have done a better job myself. I wish I had read the other reviews before going ahead, as I could have paid $90.00 for a nice blow dry at another salon.

Love this place! Eliza and MJ were like fairy godmothers! It was my wedding the next day and they saved my damaged hair colour! MJ is a rockstar! Such a wonderful team!

If you go, I recommend bringing cash, as they charge you a little extra for using card. Also bring more than what you think you’d need to pay. Think the website needs to be updated with higher prices so customers know what to expect. Was expect $35 from what the website said, but then got charged more than double that. Despite cost, haircut was good even though they didn’t ask me what length I wanted. Got splashed with water and product in my eyes when I was getting my hair washed, but only minor.

I booked on the day and was lucky enough to get an appointment on Sunday. Mimi was so warm, welcoming, gentle and informative throughout the entire process. I got my hair straightened with the keratin smoothing procedure. She even gave me complimentary Argan oil products. I love my hair and am now a regular client!

It's my first time here and I am really satisfied with the service and the staff especially mj and I loved the way she was working.

Ask for a pricing before service as their online price list is out of date. I had a colour correction service this morning, spent two hours in the chair and basically had a full head foils, toner, 5 mins treatment and a blow dry. MJ was very friendly and knew exactly what I wanted. During the service she mentioned that she needed to use quality products to protect my hair and it will cost more than an average full head foils. I said no problem, thinking an extra $100.
My hair colour turned out great, see the pictures below. Is it $700 worth of great? I certainly don’t think so. Mind you, I got a gift box of hair products because I had a “big service. ” In summary, great customer service and I am happy with the colour but I think it’s way overpriced. I should have questioned it but I was dumbstruck and just paid and left.

I came in for a colour correction and MJ did a wonderful job. She was also extremely accommodating for my budget and I’m very happy with the service provided!

I’ve been in the Salon City today and their service was excellent! Especially MJ who did all the amazing work for my hair (which I was initially nervous as it would be my wedding hair colour) MJ was super accomodating, very professional and knows everything that look good on a client! I think I found my new hair stylist!

Worst experience of my life. Absolutely do not recommend this unprofessional and disappointing hair salon. You are better off doing your own hair. I wouldn’t even bring my dog here. Rude owner by the name Mimi and her staff are following her example. I’m disgusted with giving my hard earned money to a business that should be shut down and not allowed to operate.

Brought my Mum to get a wash and blow dry/ style as she was going to a wedding that day. Could hardly tell the difference between the BEFORE & AFTER. All up the service took no more than 15mins? !
I had to take her home and fix her hair and make it look like she walked out of the hairdresser. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

Got a half head of foils, cut and blow dry by mimi! Looks amazing and great service from all employees 10/10 would definitely recommend on coming here.thank uu for the new hair!
