Mingara One Fitness reviews
27Great gym with friendly staff and central location. Makes juggling family life and a healthy lifestyle a breeze!
Excellent gym overall. Good range of equipment. Usually not too crowded. They have so many fitness classes if you are into those instead of only cardio or weights. Gym atmosphere is good and respectful. No arrogant gym rats encountered yet. You get free access to the pool as well which is perfect.
Visiting area for 5 weeks and was recommended MingaraOne. Lucky to have FitnessPassport. Joined in the Yoga 4 or 5 times each week and THANKS it was GREAT.
Penny and Tony.
Good facility, feel like there is to much of a seperation of equipment though and many females may feel intimidated to use the down stairs area. More weights should be accessible up stairs.
Please bring back the 46kg, 48kg, and 50kg dumbbells. A lot of people want them back and it would make it a 5 star gym! No point storing lifting equipment within the gym when people want to use them. Hope they return: (
Well, 5 years ago now. I was here. I really love the ambiance and place for exercising as well as doing my headstand yoga.hope someday soon will visit this place again.
One of the best gyms I have been to across the central coast and great to have fitness passport access. Although it is disappointing to see a staff/trainer breaching the covid restrictions this lock down by leaving the central coast to visit a beach in Newcastle. Not sure if I’ll return.
Good but you guys have no idea how dominant you can be if you become 24/7.
So many of my peers have said they like mingara but don’t want to sign up because of how early it shuts.
Love the front desk staff & trainers.
Reece asked for feedback.loved the YogaG on Friday.music great.
Thanks heaps
Covid requirements being undertaken and gym equipment being cleaned regularly. All trainers and staff wearing masks.
All staff engage visitors and regulars alike. High quality equipment and personal consultations available.
Great Gym to work out on the central coast been going there for years Friendly knowledgeable trainers lots of space to move around.
Popped up to the Gym in the Mingara Club to enquire about some clothes but they were closed. Feel they were limiting opening hours due to the health viruses and were opening at 3 pm. Had other plans for the day. Will let take photos next time I go soon.
Disgusting behaviour from the staff at Mingara one Fitness. I used the gym today and was treated extremely poorly by the personal trainer Ryan Taylor-Murphy. Not only did he interrupt my training session and forcibly take my earphones out of my ears, but he continued to arrogantly state that I must stop my session and listen to him whenever he asks, because he is in charge of the gym. I asked Ryan Taylor-Murphy 7 times to take a step back from me, as his face was within 10cm of my face. I repeatedly asked him to take a step back due to COVID-19 health and safety concerns, and he continued to arrogantly laugh in my face, and refused to leave my personal space. He then began smirking and laughing about it with other staff (whilst still standing directly in front of me). I have cancelled my membership and will never be using this gym again. If anyone reading this review would like to discuss this with me, please don't hesitate to reach out and ask me for an accurate review of Mingara One Fitness. I would be more than happy to answer any questions you have, as I have used this gym since I was 14 years old, and it has severely gone downhill since Ryan Taylor-Murphy and other staff began working there.
Always a quality place to visit. The only thing I miss at Mingara is a cable Bicep Curl machine. I know dumbbells are great but I feel self conscious in the parade ring
Love the people, the trainers and the positive atmosphere. The classes are probably the best on the coast from what I've been to.
Great gym that has just about everything you could think of. I'm easily able to get my workouts done while hitting all of the muscles I want to hit and push myself to the limits. People here are super friendly and are more than happy to give you a spot if you need one. Plenty of trainers and friendly staff available. 100% recommend for anyone starting out or looking for a clean gym with a good vibe.
They've got dedicated rooms for weights, cardio etc so they've basically got the lot
Loving the atmosphere and systems in place post Covid-19. Staff are friendly and the new layout is spaced out and safe.
Peak times are horribly crowded as expected but the friendly staff and general vibe more than makes up for it. Off peak times are bliss here.
The fitness is okay. What I found really appealing is that you're also having access to the spa and the swimming pool. They have a lot of fitness classes, which is really cool, some of them are nice, some are just okay. But it is not that clean and you can see that the weight equipment is old and they probably haven't put some new in there since they started. The squat racks are impractical because you can't place the bar lower than to the height of your knees. There are also way to less barbell bar locks. The mats are dirty, the water is not filtered. The opening hours are short, especially on the weekends, because 6 pm is really early to close a gym. Overall it's okay but i think the price Is way to high for this gym and the joining fee is outrageous.
