Pay to swim in the pool, then get kicked out of 3/4 of it for the aqua class. Not happy that I paid my money to swim with my daughter's and weren't even aloud to use the majority of the pool.

Not busy during the day. We wanted to use the hydro pool, but it is only available certain times each day. Check their website for timetable. We go on Thursday afternoon 2.00pm until 3.30pm. We also get use of the 50m pool and recreational pool. For $9 you get all three, with unlimited time in the 50m and recreational pools.

Swimming lessons are a joke. Seems to be a different instructor every time and they don't even get in the pool with the children. Not happy

I go there for hydrotherapy otherwise I wouldn't bother. The spas are not working lately no sauna or steam rooms and limited times for the hydrotherapy pool. An olympic pool for laps and very small kiddies sectional pool.

Good clean pool, nice staff.
Swimming lessons are well planned although a bit pricey.

For general swimming, to be honest i dont know how they do it for the price? I not sure how much it costs to clean and heat a 50 Meter pool but it must cost a fortune. I have used many pools in Sydney, and for cleanliness, friendly staff and availability of change room amenities, Mingara is by far the best i've seen. Keep up the great work team.

Very happy positive people that will help you lose weight if you want too. They don't push you into it but once you have made your mind up to lose 1,2,3,4,5, up to 10 or how every much it is then they will back you 150% plus they can be very fun and funny as well. They also have a class for what every fitness level you are and it dosen't matter what age you are or if you just want to tone up.
So go and see them you won't be disapointed with you want for your workout.

Mingara are proud to only accept people who willing pay excessive charges. Mingara refuse pensioners, and refuse any discounts for any health care card holders. Apparently only the disabled and old age citizens are entitled to a reasonable fee.

Really nice aquatic centre with solid squad programs. The pool entry fee is $8 for swimmer $3 for spectator Im pretty sure. The aquatic centre itself has 4 pools, a main 50m Olympic pool, a hydro pool and 2 children's pools.
The squad program is good, the coaches really do help you improve at swimming.
The aquatic centre is also next to the shops and restaurants which is convenient.

Great facilities. Good for a swim or go round the whirlpool. Will be good when the spa reopens. Changing area and showers are well equipped. Friendly staff

This place is pretty good. Kids love the whirl pool. Theres 2 small kid pools which are perfect for little kids and 1 cold lap pool, 1 hydrotherapy pool and 1 warm fun pool with water fountains and the whirl pool. Theres also a gym.

Great aqua aerobics teachers. Beautiful pools. There are 2 different levels of aqua classes. The early one is more aerobic than the lunch time one. The later one is more for the older crowd and those just getting into aqua aerobics.

Great facility, very helpful friendly staff. I took my 92 year old Dad there for a swim and the staff were a great help.

Recently swam laps 10/3/22 the pool was colder than a outdoor pool at Wyong and the showers were freezing. Paid for heater pool, didn’t get it and a hot shower to warm up after wards no go. Staff ok but won’t be back to soon. Next time will ask about temps before I pay. ️

If you want a pool full of children ignoring the rules and roped off swimming lanes that are full, this is the one for you.

If anyone knows of a grownups only pool to have a relaxing swim in I'd be grateful for a recommendation.

This place is neat and tidy, however people just leave their belongings at the side of the pools I only saw one small set of lockers, and the changing rooms only have three small private cubicles to change in or your other choice is bare all in something that is reminiscent of a terrible high school gym.

Great pool but the change rooms are way too cold! I won’t be able to return with my 1 year old as yesterday he turned blue and was so cold he vomited from shock

Lady behind counter spends 25
mins chatting to a customer then finally tells us the place is closing early (in 30
minutes) but it’s still full price.didnt offer any deal.used her face mask as a chin strap the whole time.
