I had a negative experience with Lauren Winney. I found her practice to be insensitive and traumatising, despite multiple sessions of therapy. We spent multiple sessions talking about my prior history rather than strategies to develop a healthy mindset. Following treatment with two other clinicians (a clinical psychologist and a psychiatrist) I also found out I was misdiagnosed in my prior sessions with Lauren. I would not recommend this practise to those looking for trauma informed care.
