Midas Timber Flooring

Had issues with them right from the beginning. Engaged them to install floorboards. They were meant to level the floor before installing the floorboards. Didn't do it properly and used the incorrect and cheaper material and floor was not level. Had 2 attempts to fix it but still not completely rectified. Advised me that they will provide 25 yrs warranty on the job. Floorboards is still not level and is moving at the joints.
Contacted them again to try and arrange to have the issue fixed. They are claiming it is not an installation fault and is refusing to fix the problem!

Terrible experience with them.

Quoted for installation of floorboards. Confirmed and agreed on price. Ended up adding more because he didn't count one area even tho it was all confirmed.

Installation was terrible. They were meant to level out a section of the floor. Changed in his pricing for the levelling part on the day. Tried to charge me $800 to level out an area with quick set concrete, instead of a leveller. Had to pull up the floorboards as it was not levelled and was rocking and lifting on the uneven part. Re-did the levelling part again but still same issue - not levelled and boards are rocking and lifting. At this stage we have already been delayed in the installation of the kitchen. Had no choice but to continue. He assured me that the boards will be ok and have a 30 year warranty. It's not like they will be able to just pull up one board as they are a click and lock system so they can't just replace 1 panel.

Nearly a year down the track, the floor is getting worse and the uneven part is lifting more. Now the edges of the uneven floor is buckling and the corner of the floorboard panels are lifting and cracking.

Very disappointed and frustrated as I can't just pull up the floorboards with the new kitchen on top. Now we're stuck with a new kitchen on a dodgy floor!

Absolute disaster! Poor workmanship!

Do not use them. If you do decide to use them I would be standing over them every step of the installation process to make sure they're doing the right thing.
