Unfortunately I did not have a good experience. By the time I got home from my lunch on Saturday 11th of June, I was feeling bloated, I had a very big headache and was feeling sleepy. I called the restaurant to ask if they add MSG to there dishes and they told me yes, most dishes have MSG. I could not believe what I was hearing, I paid premium price for lunch that is full of MSG. I asked why it is not noted on the menu or on their website and they told me if I asked them, they would let me know. Wow how can a restaurant that charges so much for there dishes, add MSG. In any case, I was sick for 2 days and I wont be returning or recommending Queen Chow to anyone.

Nice to know what hotels are controlled by justin hemmes, so that i can avoid them and not get ripped off/by price, and filthy glasses with flat hot beer. David Arkell

I booked a VIP table via Marivale booking club for my husband birthday and paid upfront. Upon our arrival they got my booking wrong and wanted to charge me $1000 more then it took them 3 hours to figure out what was the right amount after that when I wanted to order cocktails for my guest they refused at it was after 11: 30 pm. So they ruined our night. Also the prepaid dinner came out after midnight instead of 10 pm. No one was there to take responsibility no duty manager on site for 3 hours. We were disgusted with the customer service and the birthday was spoiled: (

Last week we held our sitdown wedding reception at The Establishment Bar.
Thank you for a wonderful night, it was truely amazing! Sooo many ppl commented on the food & the venue! I will never forget the moment that we walked into the Gin Garden to the roar of all our friends & family - it was huge! Everything with the event was soo seemless & went off without a hitch. The event managers on the night were great & even things like dropping off all the flowers etc was brilliant, plus they kept all the vases & boxes etc just as we requested. The packup was soo easy as well. Everyone was so great to work with, Charlie our event manager ensured everything went as planned. I wouldn’t hesitate to hold an event here again.

We just had our wedding last Saturday at Ivyballroom and it was such a great night and surpassed our expectations. The entire planning process was so smooth and Chloe and Charlotte from the wedding team made it so easy, even though we were planning the wedding from overseas. The staff on the night were also exceptional! Not to mention food was on point!

Ivy girl dressed shoes light pink, green bracelet, watch, square, curly hair, squared shirt, (apparently ivy manager) Thursday ivy as we went to ivy and recon she watched ivy video and sayed I was involved in agression people. Even Halo security lied to me and was not even protecting me instead. Really disappointed about merivale group.

The staff are not helpful, they don't respond to emails and it makes it very hard when trying to book for an event. The communication in general is very poor, I'd give Merivale Group a 1/5 rating.

Consistently good service and food. Every venue is special and unique. Highly, highly recommend.
