Meriton Suites North Ryde

Nice place. In the outskirts of sort.
Bit far from the station.
Next to the Macquarie mall which is good.
Hotel has a gym, pool n sauna
Rooms are good and well maintained. Rooms have laundry, dish washer, etc which is good for longer stays.

But unlike hotel rooms they done clean the place, wash utensils or do up the beds daily which I didn't like
WiFi wasn't so good but decent.
They have a 10 am checkout which was too early for me. They extend till 11 but was chargeable thereafter.

All in all a decent stay experience

Good comfortable bed. Small but adequate bathroom. Comfy couch in living space. Close to shopping centre. Lift straight to Carpark. Friendly reception. They allowed us an early check in. View was of building next door. Would stay again if necessary.

Had an issue with original room but the very helpful staff moved us to another room without any trouble. Will definitely be staying here again.
Very convenient location close to Macquarie Shopping Centre and Metro train station.

What i like about this place is close to the shopping center and metro not far so great for those travelling great prices for the rooms. Clean rooms nice staff free WiFi

Pros:
Staff are great.
Walking distance to Macquarie shopping centre.
Fairly quiet.
Clean with sufficient amenities.

Cons:
Parking was difficult over the weekend despite paying up front. More people are using it than parking spaces available.

View from the balcony is of other rooms rather than scenery.

Chromecast and WiFi are a little tricky to set up.

Enjoyed overall.

Have stayed in Meriton in Sydney CBD, Broadbeach, Gold Coast and this time stayed at North Ryde for 6 nights (checked out on 11 Jul) with family in a 2-brm studio (Rm 744)

Things we liked:
- Great location for work and leisure
- Very friendly staff
- Spacious rooms and generous wardrobe space
- Well equipped kitchen and laundry

Things that we did not like:
- Did not get housekeeping service the entire long stay. Was told our contract did not include housekeeping even though NOWHERE in the contract was there such a clause.
- Carpet in heavy traffic area, especially the area near the kitchen, was worn and dirty.
- Study desk was littered with dirt and crumbs.
- Greasy oven tray was not washed when we checked in.

A very clean and comfortable apartment who is also conveniently located within short walking distance from major shopping centre.

I have stayed at Meriton apartments a few times. I find that they are a bit of a hit & miss. My last stay wet sheets left in the machine, soap left in the shower, finger marks all over the fridge. But I have had 3 good stays as well

Room was good and clean, nothing amazing to rave about and no issues. Amenities were ok - fit for the price. Customer service was generally good.

Absolutely beautiful rooms & beautiful people. Very helpful staff they went up & beyond to help me. Close to the hospital

I rarely review hotels, but had to for this one. Booked to stay here late on a Friday night, at quite a reasonable price, so I wasn’t expecting super luxurious. The lobby & reception area is immaculately clean, & smells amazing. Reception staff are very polite. There was only a studio room available (doesn’t come with balconies), but upon arrival was given a studio that not only had a balcony, but it was a very spacious outdoor area that opened from the living room, & from the bedroom, had 2 chairs, a table, 2 sun beds & a side table, much bigger outdoor area than what I’ve had at 1-2 bedroom suites. Was raining, so didn’t get to have the full enjoyment of the outdoor area unfortunately. We’d forgotten our laptop & HDMI cable so we thought we wouldn’t get to watch any TV, but when we got there we were surprised that the room had a smart tv that was pre installed with streaming apps, & had phone connectivity, so you could cast your shows off your device, which was a huge relief! Bedding soft, pillows super comfy, shower was a bit wider than the parramatta meriton, so that was a nice surprise. My only con was that the parking is SUPER limited, only one floor, so we kind of had to make our own space. Other than that, really happy with the stay, will definitely be back!

Lovely suites ideally situated with first class facilities including parking, public transport, restaurants aand bars nearby. We have stayed here many times Nd enjoy our visits from QLD

Had a great stay, love having a kitchen, exerything you need is here if you just need a break, just byo food. 5 stars if the spa was a few degrees hotter.

Feels like brand new. Scrupulously clean and modern. Great location for the area. Very affordable for an excellent accommodation

Always love to stay in Meriton. Nicest and newest service apartment in town and everywhere. The room was nice, quite big with balcony but found crumbs on the table next to the couch. We found air con is a bit noisy for some reason, so we turned off. Apart from that it is in a nice location and easy access to another places. Staff that helped us at the counter could be friendlier and give us a smile would be great.

Clean and spacious apartments. Staff are welcoming and excellent customer service.
Only 1 issue I found was most of the non stick pans has lost the Teflon coating and they are still in the kitchen. You may need a couple of pans if you are planning to do cooking.

I Just want say THANK YOU for risking your lives and giving us best care as possible. YOU GUYS TRUELY ANGELS. Working so hard, day and night in this situation. Putting up with patients rudness and screaming. I understand people are staying away from families, Abusing Nurses and staff not acceptable, they are help us. YOU GUYS ARE TRUELY AMAZING

This place is conveniently located, with a very friendly and helpful staff, specially front desk personnel. Only problem is their internet. If you need to work from here, think again, internet is indeed poor. I have given feedback but it's of no use. I guess they are using a provider with low bandwidth. I would have given 4 or 5 if internet was reasonable.

My wife still in quaranty in room 551. Her last covid test result came positive at last day of the 14 days quarantine and shifted to Meriton hotel. Then they did a blood and covid test on Wednesday and they didn't send to RPA VIRTUAL probably yet. I requested to the staff to find out what's wrong with this morning? After that I called more than 10 times for any information but didn't pick up the phone. I need to know what the responsibility of the staff there. At least give us any information about what's wrong. I will report to the NSW health department If you guys keep ignoring our request. Is this how do you guys service to the covid patients!

My dad, who has been staying here for past 2 months was kicked out with under 12 hours notice. My dad had already paid for another month too. It's clear that the hotel puts profits over it's customers due to the exremely short notice period.

I feel bad for recommending my dad to stay here for a long stay. I've stayed at this hotel a few times myself but I can no longer recommend the Meriton chain at all.
