Meriton Suites Chatswood

I changed my bad review since my recent stays at Meriton Chatswood have been great again. The previous issues like noise and after mid night party does not exist any longer thanks to the great management. I would like to say thank you for that and I hope you stay on the tight regulations of no guests after 10 and no noise after mid night.

Really good place to stay. Only fault would be is you have to pay for parking when it should be included in your booking.

WOW! I HAD THE BEST TIME HERE! We went for our parents’ anniversary and had the time of our lives. It is close to the train station and a lovely shopping mall, so it is obviously really convenient. The staff were friendly and hand kids a colour-in activity booklet along with crayons. The beds are big and clean, the pool is spacious, the view is breathtaking and the building is so modern. What more could I ask for? If you want a break from the usual hustle and bustle of life, this is the place. I repeat: This. Is. The. Place.

Very Good stay at Chatswood the manger here he is a very nice man who I seen at Campbell Street at my other stays and I must say the meriton gives very good rates for a 5 star hotel and they always very helpful very good hotel brand that I know I can trust

The value for what you get is though the roof, the hospitality, location, room and amenities couldn't be better, I can say for certain I will be back.

Bad service，that are inconsistent with hotel culture.
Hotel manager is like “I am the king of here” Do not dial “9” and expect the service that you ever enjoyed in other same level hotel.

Having a good sleep before to check the if everything is clean.

Very nice apartment in a fantastic location close to the train station and restaurants all within walking distance.
The bed was amazing, best nights sleep. Easy internet connection to keep you working after that work dinner!

Best meriton in sydney. Modern spacious clean and friendly efficient staff. I have stayed in city meritons but this is the best. Close to station and food and shopping at chatty. Parking onsite which city ones dont offer. This is now my go to place for working in sydney trips

We booked a two bedroom suite. It was spacious and had a nice view of Chatswood. The staff are ok but they could improve their services. We stayed in the 30th floor with 3 little kids and the balcony is quite accessible. We asked if they could lock it for security as the is the danger of the kids going in the balcony and could have an accident. They told us they couldn’t do anything as they lost the key to the balcony. Not good enough - especially when we are talking about the safety of 3 little kids. My husband had to put the poll of the broom across as a solution!

They supposedly do room service but they don’t even clean the floors or the bathrooms etc.just do beds and put new toiletries. I think they could do better than that. Given we are also in the middle of a pandemic when cleaning is essential!

We had to extended for an extra night, they didn’t notify us they will cancel the previous room key even though we were staying in the same room.well they canceled and we could get in and had 3 little kids loosing it as they were hungry while we sort out the activation of the new key.again simple things that make a big difference and they could have just let us know!

Overall a bit average - I expected more from Meriton!

I am leaving another review for this location as there is someone who works here that deserves to be praised:) I booked a 5 night stay here 2 weeks ago and to my surprise upon check in, I seen Patrick here in Chatswood who i also met at the Campbell street Meriton last year! I want to thank him for welcoming me again, he really goes above and beyond in making you feel special and making my stay as comfortable as possible! I will be coming back here again this weekend:)

This is a warning to inform that credit card skimming happening at Meriton suites Chatswood.

My Bank confirmed that my physical card is copied and currently used in Sydney.

I only gave my physical card at Meriton Chatswood only as payWave option is not available during my 4 day visit to Sydney.

I called the hotel and informed the duty manger to take this matter seriously and check all card terminals and do a formal investigation around this and info all impacted guests to change the cards BUT he did’t take me seriously.

Please be careful when using this card at this hotel.

Very rude and aggressive reception desk service!
I was delivering food and came across a very rude male Asian staff named RAFTIF CHEUNG at the reception desk. I kindly asked if it is possible to leave the food at the reception desk for the customer. Straight away he replied by saying “It’s not our job! ” with an aggressive behavior. I was only asking if it was possible to do so. What he said was correct but his attitude was not appropriate as a staff reception. I’m sure he could have given me the same answer but with a friendlier manner. Never have I met such an aggressive hotel staff in my life before! I almost burst in laughter as soon as I left the building!

Just loved the suite given to us. Service is amazing. Great location to everything. Same with the staff etc. Very clean modern and facilities are excellent. Love to stay there again for sure.

This is possibly the worse hotel I've ever been to. A fly infestation behind the sofa, flies in the bathroom, and the worst part? The lifts. Only 4 lifts are for guest use although it feels like only 1 is functioning, and you have to pre-select your floor before getting into the lift. It is a good concept at first, but when you actually put it in play, oh boy… mass chaos. It takes 10 minutes for a lift to arrive (23rd floor), 5 minutes to get down during around 9am to 10am because it stops at literally every floor, while a normal lift would've taken 1 minute. Unless you fancy killing 10 flies every time you shower, or wasting 15+ minutes for the lift, I recommend another hotel. (The location of the hotel from the station is pretty good though)

We booked one bed room stayed 2days ago.when we check in, reception gave us free upgrade to 2 bed room even we didn't request.during we were away from the room to use sauna and pool facility, room attendant came into our room without any notice then lock the one of the bed room.we just found out after come back from sauna.it's really ridiculous action we didn't request upgrades room also we don't need extra bed we are just couple.this kind of action was so much disappointed.also security card doesn't work when we insert cart into docking spot.lights kept down.its not match with meriton brand value.very disappoint and not good experience.

Great, comfortable and conveniently located to everything. Meriton suites can always be relied on for a fantastic stay.

Great hotel in a great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and suited for our family. Chatswood shopping centre is nearby as is the train station. Easy to get to the CBD and Lane cover (we were there for NAPA). Parking is limited to was interesting to see where we were parking each day. Loved the view of the city from our room which made the stay so much more enjoyable. Would stay here again.

When we arrived, there were no body in the reception. Welcome to Meriton Suites Chatswood!

I am utterly surprised how they are in the 5 star category! Well, I admit we went on a day when there was some power outage in the Chatswood area, so their systems were down and they could not give us the suite of our choice. Also we could not use the telephone to call the room service because of the outage - all that is fine!

But once you provide a room to a guest, you ensure there are the basic things available - like sleepers, tooth brush/paste, bath towels, etc - none of them were available! We had to run down to the reception and stand in the queue to get them ourselves!

Also there was a communication issue about the check out time. They mention 11am in their website, but they were literary calling us to ensure we vacate the room at 10am! We had to stand in the queue to get manual room check-ins, because of the outage, so there was some 1 hr delay from the hotel's side, aren't they (for courtesy sake) allow us a relaxation in the check out time?

Ah there are so many things - I forgot to mention, we had to call the service to clean up the outside balcony as there were cigarette bugs and spider webs all around! Please note, they won't answer your calls at the first instance, you need to keep trying (did I mention there are usually no one in the reception!)

This is terrible and on top of it - their customer service! I am not sure about their other branches, but I will NOT recommend Meriton Suites Chatswood. I really don't have the time and energy, otherwise I would have asked for a refund!

Meriton Suites is one of the best hotel in Chatswood. I visit several time in this hotel. Security is very strong as well as clean and tidy.

Disappointing costumer service. It seems that it is reasonable price but in fact it is NOT. They have so many fees and extra costs next to the main amount they advertise.
