Except for the female staff, everyone is very unfriendly.
The service level is at a motel level.

Terrible customer service ever in my life.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days and the room we got at the first day smelled unbearable stinks all over the room.

When we requested a room change, the receptionist came up to our room and "BLAMED" us as if bad smells are because we didn't turn AC on. That stinky smell from the carpet was there from the moment we entered the room, and turning off AC for several hours cannot make such a disgusting smell all over the room. The highlight is she tried to gaslight us with her arms crossed as if the room rather smells good for her. Room change was not possible for day 1 because it was fully booked at the day, and the very next day, we changed to other room, and turned out that stinks are a specific problem of that room.

I am very disappointed that I was able to smell that disgusting smell in my clothes for several days, and this hotel treated us as obnoxious customer who is super sensitive to room smell.

There is a musty smell coming from the carpet. When I asked to change the room, he came up with his arms folded and said nonsense, such as why he asked for a change when he thought the smell was good, and that it would get better when I turned on the air conditioner, but it was because you were turning off the air conditioner, etc, and because it was fully booked that day, I couldn't change the room. I switched to another room and the smell stopped. I think that room was a strange room with a smell, but I was angry that they tried to gaslight me by saying it didn't smell. And on the fourth day, the smell started creeping up from other rooms as well, and it seemed like it was just the smell of the hotel carpet itself.

Right in the CBD, good location if that is where you need to be. I was on the 13th floor and the view was terrible.

Apart from that the room was good, nice kitchenette and decent fridge etc. Washing machine if you are staying longer.

Coffee machine with pods (no decaf)

Very close to darling harbour and Chinatown. Bar across the road, Starbucks just round the corner.

Amazing location, 10 minutes walk to Central train station and Chinatown, just outside Thai Town and tram lines. Easy walk to Queen Victoria Building and Financial District. Rooms are very well furnished including dishwasher, washer and dryer, large fridge, very fast free WiFi download and upload.

The service.is really not that good.there are friendly staff, but they are unfriendly among the most.facility management is poor.

Great rooms in a fantastic location. Only downside was immediately after paying we were informed there was maintenance to be done and no water for showers or toilets. No communication of this at all prior to. Were eventually compensated for this which was great.

If the room condition was good, I would have given it 5 stars. The location is good, the apartment is self-catering and laundry, the room size is appropriate, and the staff is friendly, but it's hard to see it as a 5-star. When the heater was not cleaned and the heater was turned on, black dust (?) fell on the bed and could not be used at all. Dust fell on the white pillows and blankets, and I was surprised from the first day. Also, the bathroom shower hose was broken, which was inconvenient. After unpacking, I didn't change rooms. I don't think it's a 5 star just because the room hygiene and condition are not managed like this. It's not good luck. I've traveled here and there, but it's the first time I've ever had such a dirty air conditioner. In Australia, Melbourne, Geelong, and even Port Campbell, there were no heaters dripping with black dust.

I chose this hotel because of its good location, and the customer service from the hotel staff was excellent!
They readily accepted requests such as baggage storage and requests, and the front desk staff was cheerful and polite, which was very nice!
There are staff who can speak Japanese, so this is a safe hotel for those coming from Japan for sightseeing.

Also, the room and pool were very clean, and the room was very spacious and comfortable.

Booked a 1 Bedroom Luxury Suite for 5 days with king bed 31st August - 5th September 2023 with late checkout. There was nothing luxury about it in room 2310.

Was by far the worst bed I have ever slept in. The bed was lumpy, the king size bed was achieved by pushing 2 king singles together which is understandable as that's what most hotels do, but instead of strapping them together with a king size mattress protector and using a king size thick mattress topper to avoid the individual middle side seams digging into you and prevent both from splitting apart, they tried to keep them together with a double sized very thin mattress protector that was stretched beyond imagination (view photo with bed made showing the big gap). Visited reception the morning after a terrible 1st night stay/sleep to ask them to please sort out before returning late afternoon. Returned to find nothing done so spoke to reception again on the way out for dinner and they advised nothing had been listed on the system about the issue. Returning to the room a few hours later, was horrified by a thin queen size mattress protector thrown onto the living room couch with what looked like faeces stains on it! They couldn't even be bothered to place it onto the bed and to be honest, glad they didn't with the state of the protector they threw there.

In addition to the above, the furniture was damaged, the tv remote control was held together with duct tape and I kept hitting my head on the tv in the bedroom trying to get into the nightmare of the bed as there was little room to brush by the edge of the bed seeing though the tv was sticking way out from the wall on the wall mount.

Standard provided amenities like, coffee/tea sachets, body wash, shampoo and soap, expect one of each only to last because they don't get replenished for 3 days, don't expect cleaning of the room or bed made with linen replaced for 5 days as that is their policy at this particular site also.

Upside after the horrors of the above, the room itself was large and spacious with great size kitchen and combined bathroom/laundry. Shower size was great and water pressure strong.

I have always stayed at Meriton properties for business/pleasure around Australia, the beds have always been the highest quality and service great, however this particular suite failed on so many levels it was beyond a joke. Staff did not care at any stage about fixing the major bed issue even when checking out. I was asked how the stay was and I told them once again, the response I got was basically an insincere sorry, we shall inform the manager and we look forward to you staying again.my response was, you must be kidding, I will never be back to this place!

I will continue to stay at other Meriton Apartments/Suites around Australia however this particular one is blacklisted in my books forever and I strongly recommend staying at another Meriton site instead of this one if you want to get a good night sleep in a comfortable clean bed.

So very disappointed, these particular suites fail the Meriton high standards I have always encountered.

Fantastic room with a fantastic view - - clean with a nice hot shower on-suite bathroom at a very reasonable price - - ima recommending this hotel to all my friends on the 30th floor!

Stay away if it’s windy. Despite covid restricting services, the Campbell St staff were very friendly and the location was also good. Unfortunately when the wind got up a horrendously loud banging kept me awake most of the night - even ear plugs were no match. According to staff it was a well known (to them) and unfixable issue with elevator cables slamming around and can be heard across the floor. Check the forecast before you book!

Stayed here for a business trip and it was a fantastic stay! Reception was very modern and clean. Room (Executive Studio) was very spacious with everything you may need for your stay including a large bathroom and kitchen supplies. Was slightly cold at night without any extra blankets so i would recommend some extra layers just in case

They were a little funny with me checking in, and I had to wait for over 30 mins to get maintenance to my room to have something fixed which caused me to be late for several appointments.
It was just bad luck. So for the price I had a pretty darn good deal.

Couple from Gold Coast. This is our favorite hotel in Sydney. We always stay here when visiting Sydney. It's location is perfect. Close to Chinatown, trains and CBD shopping. Always very clean and all amenties supplied e.g. Great kitchen and laundry. Reception staff are very friendly, helpful and knowlegable.
Would be 6 stars if they provided own parking. Ps very difficult calling their reception- very long wait.

5 Star hotel right in the middle of Thai Town or Chinatown, Female staff their are really nice and helpful particularly one staff member she always greated us with a smile as we come and go

Lovely, clean hotel. Would definitely stay here next time I come to Sydney. The staff are very friendly and helpful at reception. And the hotel is in a very convenient location. Surrounded by amazing restaurants and right next to the trams. Great value for money. Highly Recommend.
