Very friendly staff, we live 30 minutes away but still would rather make the trip because of how great the Vet clinic is.

I take my cat there to be boarded when I Go away.
They look after her so well. I never have to worry about her. I trust the Vets and Nurses implicitly QAQQ

I had rung 4 Vets about two of my three fur babies with Gastro and Vomiting they fitted us in asap and gave injection to one and medication for both and I also rang back next day foe further advice so accomadating with their help an Staff were wonderful:)

Merewether vet fitted us in that day for an appointment and the vet and assistant were so kind and caring despite clearly being non stop busy all day. These people obviously have a passion for caring for animals and I am very grateful for all their help and for treating our cat so well and keeping her over the weekend at the last minute so she could heal in peace.

Very responsive team. I brought my pup In a few days before Christmas during our travels away so it was an unknown vet. All staff were amazing, from the prompt booking over the phone, the consult with the amazing vet, her assistant who popped in when required, and advice from reception staff afterwards. Very organised place. Pricing was also reasonable. What stood out most was that they all showed genuine concern for my dogs needs and for our unique travelling situation.it was clear they loved their jobs. Thank you so much for seeing Freddie and making us feel cared for. Bless you all.

My cat needed urgent care today, and no other vet would take us (including our own). Merewether Vets were kind enough to book us in as an emergency, and we were even able to see a vet 40minutes earlier than what the appointment was. My kitty is now recovering and I will always be grateful for outstanding customer service. The Lady Vet was amazing too, I will definitely think about transferring. Thanks guys

My cat usually boards at Cook's Hill veterinary, I couldn't get her in as they were booked out. Cook's Hill veterinary recommended Merewether veterinary, I rang them and they were so friendly. We dropped off my cat and were very impressed by the friendly staff and service. I rang to check in while we were away and they said she had settled in and was doing really well, I asked if they had the right cat lol. As I know my cat.
We came back early it's fantastic that they are open between certain hours on Sundays.
I was really happy with my cat being there, and I understand that they want you to enjoy your own holiday and not worry about how our animals are really going. I know my cat doesn't eat a lot and she will get stressed and she may hiss, I can see my cat has been stressed from the weight she has lost lol, so sugar coating how she is going doesn't sit well with me, I prefer to know how she is actually going.
In future if I can't get into my usual vet for cat boarding it's great to know Merewether is available for cat boarding

The most compassionate and caring team of vets and vet nurses. Felicity is the absolute best vet I have ever met as a lifelong pet owner, her compassion, understanding, professionalism and absolute thorough attention and care to both animals and people has been a blessing to us

Walked in scared as hell, beautiful friendly people extremely clean thinking o'OH this will cost me but wow not at all, extremely attentive even with a group of animals very cost efficient and a great outcome even with my doubts which I was wrong. Highly recommend

Incredibly thankful to all the staff here for fitting me in with a last minute appointment. Such a kind and welcoming environment from the minute I set foot in the door and showed great care towards my cat. Cannot fault them one bit. So happy for what they did for me.

Highly recommended. We’ve been attending MVH for the last 18 months after we moved to Merewether from Sydney. Our dog Ella attended on a fairly regular basis. However recently she became very ill and died of cancer at home on a weekend. Lucky for us, we were able to take Ella to MVH where they arranged for her to be collected for cremation. A very big thank you Dr Chris and staff. Your compassion and excellent care is much appreciated.

It's so good to go in and firstly reception calls my dog by the name and you can tell they really love animals. You get a personal experience. Then the vet I got, a lovely, friendly blond hair lady i can't remember her name she is the best. She got X rays from the previous vet, who said nothing can be done, long story short my dog is already experiencing a better way of life. Couldn't fault this practice. Thank you guys

I had my cats going there for years I expected to had been treated alot better than I was. I found the staff to unhelpful non careing uncharitable I no longer have my cats so I'm no longer a client of there's and never will be again.

Great experience for my rescue Kitten, We were given so many tips to steer him in the right direction

We’ve been taking our pets there for over 15 years. The whole team from reception to the vets have always been responsive, helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

I would like to give my thanks and love to the beautiful staff that helped my brother and his best friend spud who had to be put to sleep from unfortunate circumstances. My brother David is forever grateful for your time and kindness in what was the hardest decision to make. Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts.

The staff were so helpful with our emergency. They went above and beyond expectations and we are forever grateful.

New premises are very nice, the vet took her time and came up with a plan to address our dog's anxiety issues.

Our 9 1/2 year old Labrador suddenly took sick in the middle of the COVID-19 dramas and we were told the same day we could not save him, that putting him down was the kind thing to do. Chris and the lovely nurses were so kind making allowances like setting up a separate room for our whole family to come in and spend some time with him and say our goodbyes even though it was not in line with social distancing recommendations.

We've always loved the staff at this practice during the good times - they saw our boy a lot as he had so many issues - but they showed they were equally kind and compassionate in the bad times, and for this we are very appreciative.
