What an absolute amazing vineyard. Not only are the wines spectacular, the hosts and wonderful and accommodating. Really enjoyed learning about the surrounds and the techniques and technology behind the wines - the Delorean was pretty special also! Only issue was as we were too in depth in conversation, I was mistakenly given 2 x the new shiraz, not the 2018! Was very much looking forward to trying it. What a shame i’ll have to go back for one! Loved the entire experience, can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Sam and crew have created a friendly atmosphere with some beautiful reds and whites. If you are a regular visitor to the Hunter, Mudgee or Orange then this winery is a must to visit. Well balanced and well priced. We will be back!

We came here late on a Sunday afternoon and we had the best time ever. The two staff members were so awesome. Attentive and knowledgeable, gave us plenty information about each wine we were tasting. Thank you to whoever served us, you made it so much better. We were told the sausage rolls are to die for and we weren’t disappointed!

We came to Megalong Creek Estate late on a Saturday afternoon (~3.30pm), and they were awesome. It was the best tasting we’ve ever been to. They were very knowledgeable; not too much, and not too little. It was lovely to see them take pride in what they were producing and be able to speak to it. We would highly recommend (over their rivals - we’ve been to both) for their warm experience and sentiments. Just lovely, easy and enjoyable.

Those spectacular views you take in from the Hydro Majestic at Medlow Bath look down at the Megalong Valley. Despite it being a dead end serviced by a road that is broken in more than six places, it’s worth the half hour drive down through cool rainforest. The road being broken in places for more than two years is an exemplar of how John Barlilaro’s guideline changes that starved Labor-held councils of funds, have impacted people’s lives in bushfire-prone areas.

There are two wineries in the valley and they’re located right next door to each other, so you might as well visit both. Megalong Creek Estate is a family-run vineyard. They make their wines in Mudgee using only grapes grown in the Megalong Valley. You can taste terroir in their single vineyard 2021 Megalong Creek Estate Pinot Noir ($30). The wine’s red Chesterfield leather reminded me of the winding, reddish dirt road in. It has a nose you could get lost in. The tastings here are free, held in an attractive barn-like setting surrounded by corten weathering steel sculptures. They have a new space with woodfire pizza coming soon, and I have high hopes for their upcoming Grenache, planted with Mourvèdre back in 2018.

Amazing! We had the best time here. Look at the views but what made it special were the lovely hosts who are sharing their knowledge around their grapes/wines. Highly recommend.

Great views from the shed or out the front. Some good wines all from the estate. Tastings available as are cellar door purchases. Friendly staff, knowledgeable in their wines. Pet friendly too. Grab a bottle and watch the afternoon sun setting against the mountains.

I typed in vineries in Katoomba area and we drove to Dryridge Estate with no expectations really. We were presently surprised by the friendly and knowledgeable staff that assisted with the tastings. The wines were very nice and the views spectacular. No pressure to buy anything after tasting the six wines, but we bought some whites and shiraz, also highly recommended the dessert wine

Gorgeous winery! The view is incredible and the perfect spot to sample the winery’s delicious wines. A gem of a spot nestled in the Megalong Valley, only a few hours outside of Sydney
