Very friendly guy, even more knowledgeable and helpful. He helped us with our sewer that another plumber said needed full replacement for 10k and he dug it up and fixed it on the spot for a few hundred bucks!

Steve is an absolute legend. He went above and beyond for me. It's a shame I can only give five stars because he deserves more.

I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to write one for Steve.

I engaged Steve one night at a ridiculous time when nobody would expect a reply, and he replied promptly to indulge me with all my questions.
His communication was top notch, the absolute best I have ever experienced from any Company, full stop.

I needed a water meter moved urgently, and he helped me by squeezing my job in the next day.

Steve was extremely punctual. He even beat me to the site and had already begun working due to the excellent communication he exhibited the night prior, and he knew exactly what was needed.

The job was done in a highly professional manner, and it was Neat. Finish.
The price was excellent, and the job was completed in a reasonable timeframe. I wouldn't have even dug the hole in the time he took to do the whole job.

I will be engaging with Steve again in future. And I could not rate him highly enough.

Needed to get sub floor drainage installed under my house. Was recommended by a Facebook group to give Steve a call. Steve installed a pit, pump, pipework, levelled (with slight slope) the surrounding areas to ensure the water flowed to the pit and water proofed the surrounding walls. Steve was very professional and completed a first class job. I highly recommend Steve for any major plumbing work.

Engaged Steve to help us out with a sewage pumping issue, a job other local plumbers didnt want to take on. Steve was willing and professional, providing advice and seeing through to completion - as well as fixing up a couple of other things for us too! Would happily recommend and use again.

Steve is a great plumber. He was prompt and kept me informed as we had to order some parts and they took time to come in. He took the time to ensure we were on the same page and when the parts arrived he was straight on to me to organise a convenient time. He paid great attention to detail, cleaning surfaces and ensured everything was done properly. For any plumbing stuff, Steve is your guy!

We hired Steve to service some taps and replace a laundry tub. His service was exceptional, professional and he went above and beyond to make sure our problems got resolved. Especially nice to have someone who knows the plumbing and pressure issues local to our area and we're definitely keeping his number handy for next time!

Steve was prompt, and efficient in his work. He was amazing with my inquisitive 5 year old daughter and explained what the tools did and how they worked as well.

Steve from McMurray Plumbing has done both repairs and installation of new fittings for me recently. His work is excellent, he's professional, punctual and tidy, and he's an absolutely fantastic person to deal with. With the repairs, careful and sensible troubleshooting saved a lot of time and bother: hugely less hassle than when I'd had a symptomatically-identical problem in another bathroom in the past, and a much better end result too. Steve also showed me the underlying issue and explained everything clearly so I know what to look out for now.

With the new fittings, when some of the items I wanted didn't exist in the product range I'd named, Steve identified perfect alternatives and proactively covered the resulting combinations for me to consider. He dealt with the idiosyncracies of the less-than-stellar original builder's work, and I'm extremely happy with the final result. The overall cost was a pleasant surprise too, as I'd expected it to be more. Absolutely tops!:)

McMurray plumbing originally came to my residence some 2 years ago and I was very impressed with his work ethic, work standard and punctuality. I remembered the name in case I needed a reliable plumber in the future and called again recently for Steve to fix a cistern and replace a new tap in the kitchen. As I expected the workmanship was excellent and he will be my go to plumber in the future

Absolutely amazing work by Steve. We had an urgent water leaking problem and Steve was able to re-prioritise his work to accomodate this in his busy schedule. Work was carried out in top notch level, he has the right tool and know exactly how to fix the leaking issue. I will call up Steve whenever I have plumbing issue next time.

I had to contact Steve for a very simple fix (for him, not me) but instead of booking in the job and charging for the repair, he took the time to provide advice over the phone at no cost to me.
I managed to make the repair myself based on his advice.

Steve came to change the anode on my hot water tank (10 year old solarhart unit) and also found that my tpr valve was not working well, so he replaced this. He initially quoted me a price for the anode replacement and with the addition of the tpr valve and labour he charged an extra $105. I checked the price of the valve on the reece website and it seemed to be more than what he charged me for both the part and labour. So not only did he NOT charge for the time to install the tpr valve, he also didn't even seem to recover the full cost of the part! He was very professional and did not mind that I stood talking to him and watching while he worked. I would strongly recommend him for any work you have, don't bother ringing around for other quotes.
