I have just started doing some woodworking
I could have spent a couple of hours browsing here.but I was after a good quality plane, a dove tail jig and a fret saw.

These guys are fantastic. Purchased a few specific small hinges, along with a lock, and called them re my urgency (read: desperation) for the order. They were incredibly helpful, and went out of their way to make sure I got the hardware in Melbourne, on time. When I realised later that I was a screw short (not a metaphor.) they happily sent an extra few down, no questions asked, which was very much appreciated.

One of Australia's best Tool shops. Not only are the products & prices excellent but the customer service is the best I've come across here in Oz. I'm originally from England so I usually pick on something to moan about but I can't with McJing Tools.

Just want to add to this review. I've continued to order from McJing Tools and I've never been disappointed by the quality of their products. Even their cheaper tools and accessories have been of great quality. Cheaper tools tend to be disappointing in my experience but not with McJing.

They obviously are dilligent in their products and make sure they are of a standard quality. Cheap tools are often built to a price but what I've bought from them has also been built to a standard that seems to exceed the price. Their more expensive tools are built to a quality that is impressive and enjoyable.

Take their luban plow plane that I bought a little while ago. It's so nice that I now tend to design pieces that include rabbits because it's so enjoyable to use and the kerf saw attachment which I didn't think I would need has actually been incredibly useful and should really be a standard attachment by luban. I've also bought their No 3 smoothing plane for small boxes and. Wow just love it. My friend has a lie Nielsen and it stands next to it with quality shavings. The only difference being I had to sharpen my blade first. I thought I would have to flatten the sole and do some fettling but I was pleasantly surprised as to how well setup the plane was, maybe I got lucky but the quality of the block planes I ordered made me buy the plow plane and smoothing plane.

Ordered some Luban block planes to ship to WA. They arrived really quickly and were well packaged. Their website was great in that it showed if the product is in stock, which is a problem I've had with a different woodworking shop in my own state, where I would order something in stock only to find it was out of stock in WA but in stock in Melbourne. So really pleased with McJing Tools. I'd highly recommend.

On the Luban planes the best way to explain it that I've heard is to use a guitar example. You can buy a $200 guitar, a $2000 guitar and a $10 000 guitar. The $2000 guitar is going to be MORE than 10x better than a $200 guitar. The $10 000 guitar is only going to be a bit better than a $2000 guitar but should play straight out of the box.

They are also branded as Woodriver in the US. So check them out they're great planes.

They have alot of bits for cnc, HSS end mills for aluminium, everything from slot cutters to vices, woodworking tools, turning tools, lots of stuff. Good prices and always friendly too.

Have bought online twice now and cannot fault the service. Considering I'm in regional NSW items always arrived in record time.

It's like the Aladdin's cave of tools. I have been twice and both times couldn't resist. A sweet chisel set, draw knife, and now a set auger bits.

Went to pick up an online order and ended up staying almost an hour just browsing! Toy shop for woodworkers & specialist tools that Bunnings don't stock. Service was good and prices are reasonable too! Easy to find and street parking around the side-streets.

Best place ever for every tools enthusiast. It is hard to find something they don't have there! Searched for a specific rabate plane all over Australia online, and they are the only place who got it, right next door basically. Awesome! Super friendly staff by the way who know their tools!
