Having known James and Lauren for several years, including as the selling agents for our previous home in Avalon Beach, we already held them in very high regard. Everyone went well above and beyond my expectations.

James was recommended to me by a friend who recommended him and his team. I will be forever grateful to her, as James achieved a sale for our property that was way beyond our expectations. We sold after the first viewing, having not even put our property officially on the market. Expats selling remotely, we needed professionalism and chemistry
We carried out a three year renovation on our property. On our last visit to Sydney in February 2020 we met and selected James Baker and Lauren Garner to market our property. Little did we realise we would not be able to return due to Covid, or see our house finished in person.

James and Lauren explained the market concisely and where our house was positioned. It took a further 12 months to complete the renovation. During this time we stayed in regular contact receiving updates on recent sales and the general market.

When we were ready to sell we discussed and agreed to go to auction. Immediately, the house was staged, photographed and the marketing campaign kicked off.

Throughout the preauction period we were regularly kept up to date via text and calls.

We particularly appreciated being guided through the auction process and strategy.

The house sold at auction, we could not be more pleased with the McGrath team for pre and post sale.

GREAT CONSIDERATION AND CARE
It was a pleasure to work with Lyndall during the whole process of selling our house. Having lived in our home for 27 years, Lydnall showed great care and consideration knowing it was a very emotional time. James and Lyndall's proposal was thorough, detailed and addressed the uniqueness of our property. From that point onwards the process followed their script remarkably closely. Lyndall responded to every question and concern within an hour or less of our call/emails. Even after the sale was complete Lydnall still showed compassion and empathy and wanted to check we were ok. A very positive experience and would highly recommend Lyndall.

Once again in 2020 James Baker of McGraths demonstrated for me his outstanding abilities as a Real Estate Agent. As part of my planning to downsize from my substantial waterfront property of which sadly I was the sole occupant, I had previously bought a suitable site to build a smaller more suitable home for my 92 years age. James was the selling agent and I was most impressed with his capacity to deal competently and fairly with me while always having the best interests of his client clearly uppermost. Consequently when the time came for sale of my waterfront, I appointed James/ McGraths.
In a difficult market for the price bracket of my property we were unable to find a serious buyer despite James' strenuous efforts. He identified a prospective purchaser who needed to sell his Southern Highlands property before committing to another substantial investment. James suggested and negotiated a six month option for them to purchase and I readily accepted this and the fee. When the option expired the country property was still not sold with bush fires badly affecting this market and the option expired. Undeterred James maintained contact and when their property sold he again returned to me to renew their interest.
My property sold to them and the outcome was completely satisfactory to me. I could not be more satisfied with his persistence and total professionalism. I can also confirm from the friendly relationships established with the purchasers that they too are extremely satisfied with the transactions.

James Baker and his team at Mc Grath were extremely helpful during the whole Real Estate buying/selling experience. We got to know James and his team quite well during our long search for our perfect house, as we kept meeting up with them every weekend at Open Houses over about a two year period!
