Hi firewood upon arrival but staff was keen to help out.we got to it first and left $150 worth of hardwood there for the next crew. Also seasoned the pizza oven.worked well after 24h burn.

I'd just like to say thank you to the team at McGrath for making sure our holiday was memorable. Absolutely gorgeous property in Mollymook, spotlessly clean, comfy beds and really well decorated. The garden and yard were also immaculate, I couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay with friends to celebrate my birthday - thank you. We will be back:)

NOT at all impressed with the McGrath service (or lack of!) We stayed in a nice privately owned house that they were managing but I took exception to the ‘Welcome letter’ that bluntly stated a consequence for everything.
An $80 charge for not putting bins out/empty dishwasher or a fee may incur/late check out incurs $50 fine/2 Strikes and you’re out policy.etc
Worst of all, I had a call a few days later to say that the cleaner had taken a photo of the dining table with a large dent in it and did we do it? It was there on our arrival, not a big deal as I thought it was part of the rustic table. Why hadn’t the cleaner noticed this before?
It’s a shame that the owners don’t rent it out themselves as part of the charm of Air BnB is the personal touch. This is certainly lost when going through agents that don’t seem to get it.

Have holidayed twice through McGrath now and both experiences have been amazing, the girls in the office are always so friendly and helpful and the places were clean. Really enjoyed our stays and would come back again!

Such a pleasure dealing with everyone here. Holidayed through Mcgrath, they found us a great place and everyone was super helpful accomodating our requests. Would definitely recommend!

A Cautionary Tale.

A family Christmas holiday was planned in February 2020 and a house for 10 was booked with deposit paid in March and full payment in October. Eight days before we were to go, McGrath Mollymook informed me that they would not honour the booking. Despite several requests for an explanation, McGrath Mollymook claimed to be unable to give an explanation other than the error was made by a staff member who is no longer employed. After numerous emails, alternative accommodation was finally arranged at the eleventh hour: for five days, not seven; we needed to move twice; and two of the days at the property that we had originally booked. We accepted two days of rent free accommodation, but this was hardly a just compensation for putting us through a very stressful time and disrupting a long planned holiday. Looking at the below reviews, McGrath Mollymook has done this before and it seems to be a recurrent problem. Are you willing to take the chance of it happening to you?

Worst experience with a real estate ever. Planned a holiday with mates from all over Australia, hadn't caught up in years. Place was booked months in advance, day of the holiday on approach we are told that they had cancelled our booking without any notice to us. Didn't find alternative accommodation for us. People took days off work, travelled hundreds of kilometers to arrive in mollymook with no accommodation at all. Holiday absolutely ruined. Wouldn't trust McGrath Estate Agents mollymook to organize their own dinner let alone let them mange my real estate. Useless.
