I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Gavan Allen for the purchase of my client's dream home. As a Buyer's Agent, I deal with real estate agents daily. From the initial contact Gavan was trustworthy, transparent and showed excellent knowledge of the local market. He would always follow up, keep us informed of any developments through the campaign and act in his vendor's best interests. I highly recommend Gavan to all vendors wanting a "seamless no-fuss" approach to selling their home!

Nothing special, in line with the rest of the (poor) service standards of Sydney's REA industry.

We applied to a unit, got a phone call saying our application was approved. Waited for the deposit details and got nothing. Called again, were told that the application is pending final approval by landlord (so why did you called me in the first place?).

Then, silence again. Now I can see that the unit is off the market. No updates from the agent.

Look, I'm not mad that someone else got the property. It's an open market, I get it. But why do you need to waste my time and be so vague in your communications?

Recently purchased a property with John from McGrath Hunters hill and am very pleased with their service. It was a very frustrating time to be purchasing a property but John was very accomodating and always made time for us. He allowed us to see the property multiple times and was always available to answer any enquiries. John also helped us reach a settlement that worked with our needs and in the end, we were exceptionally happy with his service.

As tenants we have been very happy with the way Manny looked after us during our tenancy and helped us through COVID-19.

Property manager Manuella Hadanich was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Manuella epitomises the true professional 24/7, she goes over and above to ensure satisfaction by diligently attending to every detail no matter how minuscule. I would not hesitate in recommending Manuella for any real estate requirements.

Our experience with our property manager, Manny was great. After taking over from somebody who we didn't have the best experience with, Manny was excellent in her communication and professional throughout!

My husband and I rented a house in hunters hill through McGrath and were lucky enough to have Manuela as our agent. She is AMAZING! So responsive, understanding, efficient and knowledgeable. If I emailed in the evening, my email was responded to early the next morning, with whatever needed to be already actioned (I.e plumber arranged). Jess was also wonderful when we were signing the agreement, making sure we could move in as quickly as possible and ensuring all the paperwork moved as quickly as possible.
If you ever land Manuela or Jess as your agents, you’ll be very, very happy!

We work with over fifteen real estates and forty property managers and Manuela is by far the hardest working and easiest to deal with. Manny will respond to our emails at 4am in the morning. It is extremely hard to find people with this work ethic. She is a real people's person and we will be very sad to see her go.

We have recently moved into our new apartment that we brought through McGrath Hunters Hill. We were lucky enough to have Nick as our agent and he made the potentially nightmare-ish job of buying a new home an absolute pleasure.

We felt like Nick was willing to go out of his way to help us from day one. He was always so friendly but very professional at the same time.

Since our University days, we have not rented a residential accommodation. We are taking this opportunity to express our thanks and appreciation for the good work and kind assistance we received from Manny - Ms Manuela Hadanich, the Property Manager, Manny has been most helpful. She was prompt in responding to any queries. For our convenience, some of your less urgent queries were posted over the weekend. Despite our stating their non urgency and as such could be attended to on the following Monday, she was almost immediate in her response. Thank you Manny for your kind assistance. It has made our renting in Sydney less challenging.

Unfortunately, we will refrain from commenting on the Receptionists in Hunters Hill - both at pick up/commencement of the lease and dropping the keys/end of the lease.

Unprofessional agent.

Got a inspection scheduled and in a week period received 3 confirmation e-mails for that inspection, including in the last e-mail on the previous day instructions to not get late at it. So at the time of inspection noboruly was at the address, soni texted the agent than 15 minutes late she informed it was canceled. Not she has not awsner my call neitber my wife call, also did not call to apologise in any means. Agent was Jess, completly unprofessional, hope they do not come with comida excuses.

Manuela really looked after me when I rented a property from McGrath Hunters Hill last year. Repairs were always organised in a timely manner and she was always professional but sincere. I highly recommend this real estate to rent from.

One of the drawbacks of moving from our current rental in Hunters Hill is also moving away from our Property Manager Manny (Manuela) Hadanich. It's not always the case that you cross paths with an Property Manager that understands, shows empathy and goes out of her way to ensure you are looked after fairly and promptly.
