McDonald's The Strand Arcade

Its a McDonald's, it is what it is.
The coolest thing about this one is the interesting location.
We found a private spot to eat that looked out over the street, but it was discustingly dirty, spilled milkshake all over the floor, and sweat butt cheek prints on the seats. Kinda gross. We just decided to take the food with us and eat on the street.

Awful experience. I ordered a single hash brown, waited patiently for it while the girls inside insulted my order asking like 5 times "why order a hash brown"? That's probably the smallest order they had that day and still mocked the order. I don't expect stellar service at McDonald's, just to not be insulted when I walk into a place. Don't come here.

I stopped by because I was hungry. It's nice that it's open 24 hours a day, but the tables are a bit dirty and the trash cans are full so it's hard to throw them away. I thought it was only kiosk ordering, but I was able to go to the desk and order. -I couldn't order coffee at the kiosk. I inquired at the desk and ordered it there.

No pictures, but an actually decent McDonalds. I tried here after frequenting Westfield and this is by far the superior McDonalds in this area. Great service, speedy and good communication. The seating space is much better than Westfield.

The heritage atmosphere is so good that I spent 45 minutes chilling out before going back to my office.

Raining outdoors and raining indoors. Celling is LEAKING! Shame on you building manager! No money to repair this beautiful building?

Disappointed, when you ask for No pickles you expect people to do so. Angus burger bland, will walk the extra distance back to Hungry jacks in future

Came here at 4am. Place was an absolute pig sty. Service and food was ok, but had to eat our meal on the tables full of rubbish.
Ice cream machine was also broken which was annoying.

Efficient store. From ordering to pickup i think was 2 minutes. Took longer to use the machines than the prepare time. This store has lots of seating upstairs so don't forget to look up. Clean, lots of staff doing things. If only the burgers didn't have those awful pickles.

I ordered through the app and selected this store. Somehow the app checked me into the wrong store and the McDonald’s staff told me ‘too bad you have to pick it up from the other store’. So I had to walk 10min to another store to pick it up. Super rude attitude

Good coffee however, hot beverages service is a little slow. Had to ask to have it done in two occasions.

Ordered food and didn't get it, notified my server and then the manager and they wanted to charge me again after paying, just added lettuce and tomato for free, ridiculous

This is an old heritage builing but I feel as if it shouldn't have been used for a Mcdonalds and now it's ruined. They seem to have a way of getting their hands on these buildings. I walked in and was immediately greeted by an employee standing there welcoming people I suppose, yet there were not many customers. I thought I would use their wifi first to do banking. I tried to sign in but could could only seem to load the Mcdonalds page, not transfer money (I was able to use the free wifi at Bondi Beach). The staff and woman standing there all seemed to be watching me, perhaps concerned about people only coming in to use the facilities and not buying, even though I was clean, dressed and made-up and not like a hobo. I just walked out again.

Late night/early morning visit after attending Royal Military Tattoo. Was busy, a bit messy but limited staff numbers did impact on this

A bastion of good, consistent food, in an otherwise $18.99 soggy About-Life sandwich littered landscape. The amount of establishments around here that cost 4x the price for 1/2 the food quality is disgusting. Here here, McDonald's. Never stop delivering the goods, you beautiful thing.

Actually a dissapointment staff uninformed and english compression not great, didn't have daily papers and had no idea where on could be bought. McCafe not going to have coffe if can't read. Difficult to communicate when comprehension below average. Toilet was in a putrid state with unusable disgusting facilities uncleaned for a while (don't understand how customers can trash facilities and not inform staff i almost lost my breakfast) staff indifferent to informing them.

Slipped on wet floor dropping 2x shakes asked for another told not our problem. So told girl at counter she better get upstairs and clean floor then.
Also got double big Mac asked for extra Mac sauce between patties as without it's to dry and got no extra sauce but got charged for it.
Vivid was on lots of people around McDonalds to busy ripping off.
Told my 8 yr old daughter last time for maccas. Now one unhappy girl.

Our order got messed up, 2 items were not added and 2 wrong sizes and wrong flavours. However everything was tasty:)

The crews were very friendly and approachable. The crews with the way they work. I love eating here!

Decent, its what you'd expect of a McDonald's! A lot of seating, as there is an upstairs area as well as the downstairs area. You can either order at a kiosk or at the counter, too! Good for groups as there is a lot of combined table seating. Open very late, so great for the night owls of the city!

It is what it is, McDonald's. Quick easy service, plenty of seating and ignorant customers who can't seem to put their rubbish in the bin. Amazing staff who I take my hat off to.
